Good indications of what easy and low-hanging fruit there was to improve the facade. Transparency about expected costs was given right away. 01 Aug 2025We are incredibly grateful for the guidance of Sylvia from Mutters Makelaars during the sale of our house. Our situation was quite unique: the house had to be sold while we were already living in America. During our short stay in the Netherlands preceding the sale, Sylvia – together with Manuela at the office – fantastically helped us. They truly guided us through the entire process. Not only professionally, but also with all sorts of practical matters that you would normally do yourself if you were in the Netherlands: arranging the appointment with the notary, helping with cleaning the last rooms in the house, explaining all legal terms (many of which were quite unfamiliar to us after 25 years outside the Netherlands), and even helping to remove the last belongings from the property. Sylvia and Manuela were always available, thought along with us and gave us the feeling that we could fully trust them – and that proved to be true. They were a tremendous support in a situation that otherwise could have been quite stressful. Absolutely top! We can wholeheartedly recommend Sylvia and the team of Mutters Makelaars!

The initial preparation to present the house involved expert discussions with many valuable and tailored tips and hints as to what is important for interested people. For controversial topics, diplomatic solutions were always found, which I was satisfied with. The explanation of all documents made was excellent. Ultimately, it was a great surprise to me how quickly our farm succeeded with mutual (seller/buyer) agreement. Here I must say, thanks to the fantastic guidance from the real estate agency. Makelaars and arranged our mortgage through them — and again we are very satisfied! You are really taken care of, the service is complete: from sales to mortgage advice, everything is professionally and personally guided and the people are nice too. When selling our house, a whole team was ready to help – from specialized stylists to professional photographers. They really know how to show your home in its best light on the market. In addition, they create a beautiful brochure in the form of a lifestyle magazine, which makes your house really stand out. The mortgage advice was also excellent: clear explanation, practical advice and always willing to think along with possibilities. What we particularly appreciated was that they were always easily accessible for a chat, to clarify matters or to think along where necessary. Furthermore very handy: they can also help you with your tax return! Both the real estate agents and the mortgage advisors communicate pleasantly, are easy to reach and work quickly. 08 Aug 2025Unfortunately, I cannot give less than 1 star. My father finally found the property he wanted. He was there right away, as we were one of the first to call and would be called back as soon as more info was available because it is a new construction project. Several weeks later, I called myself to find out what the status was. Answer: yes, everything has already been sold! HOW!? He was one of the first to call and Witte / Brugge Makelaars were supposed to call him back! Now he can say goodbye to the apartment he waited years for to come up for sale because Witte Makelaars treats their 'customers' like this. Truly not even worthy of 1 star!

01 Jun 2025Very disappointing guidance received from this office during the sale of our house. They use prices that are at the top of the market, but the service certainly doesn't match. In particular, the communication during the process is mediocre, but also regarding actions taken we have major question marks afterwards. Examples of this are: -Drone photos were not taken in accordance with the appointment. Done anyway after complaint -Very unclear communication about the term for listing the property on funda. Much longer than indicated -Very mediocre communication after viewings. The ultimate buyer had much more interest in the property than appeared from the information provided by the real estate agent. -Subsequently, based on this deficient information, an offer well below the asking price was accepted within two weeks of placement. We are ultimately responsible for this ourselves, but the information from the real estate agent plays a major role here. Afterwards you wonder why you didn't just waited (there was an appointment for a second viewing by another party, note for the next day), but the real estate agent increases the pressure and says that you need to act quickly. After agreement, there is then little rush in drawing up the purchase contract which is very contradictory. -When registering for signing with the notary, the real estate agent indicates that the buyer can report minor defects to the real estate agency within a few days. Apart from the fact that there is a legal duty of investigation and a notification obligation to which we have fully complied, this is a matter between buyer and seller. Acting in this way is strange and not in the client's interest. A very bitter aftertaste remains from the entire sales process and I would always look for another real estate agent in this region.
