Jeroen helped me a lot with the purchase of my house because I encountered some problems and he gave good advice. In contrast to the realtor from whom I bought the house, there is a big difference. If you don't have a permanent contract, don't even think about it and if you want to write something nonsensical in defense: even the rental real estate agent said that only people with a permanent contract have a chance of renting an apartment here. Shame!

Such as access to the VvE (found out when buying that you are €13000 poorer) and pressure to fill his own pockets. In one word scandalous to treat someone who is vulnerable like this. As a starter on the housing market, after searching for a long time, I finally found an apartment that was still available and where I could schedule a viewing. I was helped by Julie, which I experienced as pleasant. Julie gave me a professional impression and she knew all the ins and outs of the property. Info about the VVE (Homeowners Association), construction plans in the area, advance payment for heating costs, and the history of the building. Basically everything you need to know. Anyway, I made an offer and bought the apartment. Also, during the process, measurement moments and extra viewings were no problem, and here too I was helped kindly. Later, during the handover of the garage box, there was something wrong. The garage box differed from the viewed garage box in terms of finishing level. The real estate agent could not have known this because the keys were not available from the selling party. No hassle, no complaints, Mr. Kooyman himself proactively contacted me and came by within 48 hours with a contractor to assess and discuss how the problem could be solved. We are now 3 weeks further and the contractor has finished and panelled the garage box at top level. Friendly people who also updated some points in the house. I would recommend Kooyman to everyone, they have gained an ambassador from me.

From the moment we got out of the car, a very unpleasant atmosphere arose. We were 6 people and wanted to go inside in groups of 2 independently. Mrs. the real estate agent didn’t have any time for that at all; she only had half an hour. When we indicated that 10 minutes per 2 would also be fine, she wouldn't cooperate either. She didn’t have time, Mrs. the real estate agent. Out of desperation, we just left without viewing the property!

The first email was on a Friday when the house had just been put online. This morning I got a call saying that something had gone wrong with the emails can happen. 2x in a row with 2 workdays in between is quite coincidental. Apart from the fact that they suddenly found my email. And just saying it can mean nothing for you. And when you ask what can you offer as a solution. Can mean nothing for you and can do nothing for you. Find it quite ridiculous that they don't even bother to look for a solution for you or just simply say sorry.

We came across Yess by chance during a viewing in Barendrecht and received a card then. Later we had an introductory meeting with Denise, and that felt right away good: spontaneous, social and clearly expert. Therefore we chose her as our purchase agent, and we have not regretted that for a moment. The contact was very low-threshold, via phone and WhatsApp, always quick and friendly. We received clear explanations for our (sometimes many) questions and doubts, and that gave a lot of trust. Viewings were quickly arranged, while we were at work, and Yess always made good preparations with points of attention and relevant documents. Therefore we always knew where to pay attention. The bidding advice was also realistic and well-founded, with an eye for the market and our situation. Luckily we had a high bidder, but in terms of quantity of bidders not enough which might be a risk to be expected by agent. All service and quality of service in English was great.

By far they had the best preparation, and even before I hired them, they were already putting in effort and doing research. In addition, the communication was also engaged, accessible, and pleasantly personal. Combined with their large social media network and candidate lists, my choice wasn't difficult, and I've enjoyed a lot of success with it! My house was sold very quickly. The communication is professional, low-threshold, and fun. I found the personal touch they designed for the introduction text of my house also compelling and touching. In an exciting yet sometimes confusing search for a new home, there is nothing better than having people around you who truly understand you. And they did, every single one of them. Marloes, Pim and Boudewijn… what a wonderful buying team. Each with their own strength, but all equally warm, knowledgeable, patient and involved. They really listened to what I was looking for, thought along (even outside the beaten path). They were always honest, even when a house simply wasn’t it. That openness and honesty I valued enormously. I felt seen, heard and supported in every step. What made this experience so special for me is that it wasn't just about finding my dream home. It was also about trust, being truly cared for and people who work with their hearts. And you can feel that. Not only from the buying team, but from the whole Maarten Makelaardij team.
