It's great to see how he’s developed. He was already excellent at guidance and sales back then, and he has only expanded on that. Where buyers/sellers sometimes feel anxious, Remco provides peace of mind and confidence. We have never encountered a real estate agent like Gerald. His enthusiasm and personal approach were truly special. Instead of simply letting us “look around,” as we were used to with previous agents, Gerald showed us around as if it were his own home. He took the time to make us feel comfortable, which we really appreciated. It felt as though he was genuinely involved and not just completing a viewing. 18 Mar 2025As first-time buyers, my friend and I bought our first house, but our experience with this real estate agency was very disappointing. It started already during the viewing, where a double viewing had been scheduled, which felt unprofessional. Afterwards, we received an email stating that there would be a one-off bid, without negotiation. This was emphasized, but after completion, the two highest bids were still played off against each other, which took two weeks. Throughout the process, we didn't feel helped at all. The communication was slow and impersonal. We had difficulty arranging a second viewing, while the house needed to be completely renovated and we wanted to make preparations. Also, when we sent an email or called, we only received a response after a long time, often from someone other than the real estate agent themselves. What was particularly disappointing was the lack of clarity surrounding the sale. No list of items was drawn up, which caused confusion about what did and did not belong to the house. The real estate agent should have managed these expectations more clearly so that no misunderstandings would arise. In short, the communication was poor, the guidance minimal, and it seemed as if the real estate agent primarily served the seller's interests. We absolutely would not recommend this real estate agency.
