The ground rent was therefore a big problem. Before the bank could provide a mortgage, a notarial opinion about the ground rent was needed. Here too, Drieman real estate agent was particularly evasive towards the notary, because Mr. found it all unnecessary. I am still getting angry and sick when thinking about these people.
