Niet eerder zo’n zelfingenomen makelaar tegengekomen bij een rondleiding. Je voelt je direct niet thuis. Het huis is toch al verkocht, tenzij je meer bied dan ….euro. Behoorlijk vieze spelletjes, geen zaken doen met deze lui.

In 2023 heeft Mares Makelaars mijn huis verkocht in Voorburg. Dit is naar alle tevredenheid gebeurt. Ik was daarover zo tevreden dat ik vorig jaar opnieuw de opdracht heb gegeven voor het verkopen van mijn huis. De gedrevenheid en enthousiasme en professionaliteit hebben mij dit doen besluiten. For several months now, we have experienced significant problems with the tenant renting this location. Reporting to the owner and Mares has not been helpful. It concerns a garage box that we had hoped would be used for parking cars. However, in practice, we see that this tenant runs a commercial car business and sells cars. It is difficult to watch as potential buyers frequently double park their cars and negotiate the purchase price of their new vehicle right in front of the garage. Additionally, we notice that public parking spaces are being used to park cars that do not fit inside the garage box. Cars with green license plates are parked at various locations around our neighborhood, forcing direct neighbors to find parking elsewhere.

Brutal and unusual broker. We had made an offer on a house, and it was accepted. Before we heard that our bid was accepted, the broker asked a contact of ours whether we could afford it and what kind of work we did etc etc. Ultimately, we were called by the broker at half past 9 in the evening saying that someone had significantly overbid, while the purchase contract was already ready. This can of course happen, but the way Mares handled this is not nice. We spoke to several brokers and they shared the same opinion. Eventually, Mares would keep us informed, but the documents have already been removed and we haven't heard anything more. Should we ever see a house that suits us, but is being sold through Mares, we will definitely pass!
