What an unprofessional mess. After a fight divorce, which the real estate agents supposedly had experience with, we started the sales process. Alfred is very pushy, even towards the seller. The lady on the phone only has a big mouth and could still use a lesson in customer friendliness. Taking photos is also considered very complicated by them: multiple times beforehand stated that names and photos of children should be blurred, you already know it: nothing blurred. After pointing this out, they made a big deal about adjusting this. How difficult can you make it for yourself? Mr Alfred decided exactly when I would sign the sales contract. Unprofessional via email. Comes unexpectedly just like that. During open house, viewers broke a part in the kitchen, real estate agent is liable but refused to take this liability so it became a very annoying case. Communication is also very complicated: reacting very late or just not at all to emails. If you mail or app too much, they simply ask you not to do that anymore. Giving the buyer wrong information about the furnishings and then blaming the buyer. You won't believe it. We, as the seller, wanted a certain amount for the house. Real estate agent forced us to apply his sales strategy anyway and you already know it: we got a lot less for our house than we could have gotten. In short: a real bunch of unprofessional toddlers who don't quite get the real estate business. Be warned and choose another real estate agent who DOES have the best interests of his sellers at heart.

When buying your first house, it does feel a bit like being in a car garage, but I was properly guided on what is important, sometimes even outside office hours. There is also enough legal and technical knowledge onboard. They have a good team, for all other matters related to buying a house as well. I could even borrow a van for moving. It was simply a pleasant collaboration and buying a house has become much more 'normal' for a layman like me.

The real estate agent provided a good explanation of the current market situation and the realistic value of the property. He provided good information or looked it up if not immediately available. The real estate agent was easily accessible, friendly, and patient.

Very poor overall service. Poor communication, a high degree of complacency because the market is good anyway. The kitchen was damaged during the inspection; I am immediately referred to this being my own risk. After a very normal question was answered in a particularly blunt way by the office manager. Not a realtor I would choose for buying or selling. The office manager should be the (positive) signboard of your shop, however, Mrs. Anja certainly wasn't. Oaf!

In short, engaging Agterdenbosch was a decision we should have made right at the beginning of our search. Extensive experience in the Den Haag/Voorburg region, good reviews and, not least, very reasonably priced. After a pleasant introductory meeting, the choice was easy. Technically proficient and skilled (buying and selling) agents. Direct, ‘to the point’ and give frank advice. No hype, embellishment or false hope, but an honest representation of things and a realistic picture of the price of a property. Something that is not always self-evident in the real estate world. The costs stand in stark contrast to the profit it has generated (e.g., not bidding thousands of Euros over asking price, move-in moment due to rising house prices (time = money) and/or no unnecessary costs for a home full of defects due to incorrect representation). Agterdenbosch has gained a loyal customer in us.

Although the market is currently so crazy that a house practically sells itself, I would still like to recommend this real estate agent. Jeroen sold our property within a week for a very good selling price. Jeroen is an expert who knows how things work. The handling at the office goes smoothly and easily.
