02 May 2025Very satisfied with Danny. The sale of the house was not a standard sales situation. The house, for example, wasn't a palace!! Nevertheless, Danny dedicated all his effort and time to it. Ultimately, it went away for quite a nice selling price. Which I didn't expect. Despite the situation I was in/am in, he helped and supported me incredibly well!! TOP realtor 👍🏻

02 Feb 2025After speaking with a number of agents, I ultimately chose Danny Pellegrom from Beste Prijs Makelaars. He came across as friendly, honest, reliable, and straightforward, and I felt very comfortable with him. The prices he charges are also particularly reasonable. The first three months were very pleasant; he went above and beyond and helped me with matters that extended beyond just the house. My points of criticism were that the written text was utterly worthless and I wasn't satisfied with the photos. Also, appointments weren’t kept, resulting in missed viewings. Danny’s motivation decreased month by month, and he started arriving late frequently. This forced me to constantly meet the viewers, which led them to comment that it looked even better and more spacious in person than in the photos…. We were also going to have an open house, which went well. Another appointment that wasn't kept. After 4 months of having new photos taken (by his daughter), the house was removed from funda. Then, three weeks later when the photos still weren’t ready and my house still wasn’t back on funda, I contacted him and from that moment onwards communication deteriorated. There was no more consultation, nor was I kept informed. My house was no longer linked to move or to my fund account. A few days later, I was told that there would be several viewers and whether they could be scheduled for the first week of month 6. I indicated that this was possible. The date got closer and closer, but I heard nothing more. Two days before, I asked if anyone was still coming (something he always kept me informed about in the beginning) and that I hadn’t received any emails from Move or heard anything from him. Briefly, I was told that two people were coming, but shouldn't you also hear that from Move? No, I had already indicated that. Oh yes, apparently the reconnection had gone wrong and he would look into it. I never saw anything in move… Ultimately, an offer was made through an open registration process, and the couple with serious interest had inquired with Danny about what they should expect regarding the amount. His answer (he told me himself): 'Yes, I don’t know all that; I can't see that at the moment.' The result? An offer below the asking price… in a time when there were many overbids…. The agent started pushing me to accept it, but meanwhile something serious had happened to me so I seemed to have no other choice than to take the house off the market, which is what I didn’t want. I indicated that I needed a week before I could give an answer and communicated this to the bidders. This time was not granted to me by the agent. He repeatedly insisted on an answer and even said he would just say that you will only leave after half a year? I couldn't answer that either, and I felt incredibly pressured. I wanted to discuss this personally with him, but appointments were no longer possible with him. Ultimately, I had to make the decision to take the house off the market, and when I asked Danny about it, I immediately received a termination invoice and was told that the house would only be removed from funda and the other sales sites if I paid. I pointed out that I hadn’t discussed terminating the collaboration with anyone and had simply requested that the house be taken off the market. The response was that this was unclear. Two weeks later, the house still wasn't off the market, and I received an email saying he had viewers and what the status was. He left me no choice but to pay the invoice so that my house would finally be taken off the market! I find this scandalous, and all this stress was just too much for me. Super nice that you are responding with untruths :) if there is no appointment then someone doesn't open up and if people have other appointments then you don’t respond to the phone either, that’s true.

Unfortunately, Mrs. Schouten has a major problem with communication and when the real estate agent then makes an appointment after a bid, she doesn't open the door, doesn't respond to phone calls or messages. Neither afterwards. After ultimately 2.5 weeks, there was a message (by email) that she wanted to remove the property from Funda without any further motivation. It is also very strange that Mrs. does not remember the open house, which did indeed take place. For 2 hours, the real estate agent received people. It is true that the real estate agent did not give the buyer an answer as to what they should offer; that would also be extremely bad if the real estate agent were to mention it. His daughter did indeed take the photos and he is proud of that since she is a photographer!! A bid far below the asking price is not correct, the bid was less than 4 % below the asking price. Contact was requested about this and an appointment was made, but as previously indicated, she unfortunately didn't open the door and wasn't reachable for consultation. It is particularly annoying that it has to be this way because BPM is running extremely hard for his clients. Communication can solve a lot if there is already a problem. Mistakes are made where people work, but this explanation is completely misrepresented, unfortunately.

04 Aug 2025I had engaged Mathieu Paul to prepare a valuation report for my property. He had forgotten to take photos of the attic and asked me if I could do that. Since I had to pay € 800.00 for this report, I thought a discount would be appropriate. He was able to offer a € 20.00 discount. For that amount, I thought it better that he come take the photos himself, and he did so after first threatening to return the assignment. This wasn't an option, I think, because VOF Huurlingsedam was the client, not myself. When he came to take these two photos, he still wanted to know why I couldn’t do it myself, that he always likes to be in good contact with people and always tries not to overdo the valuation. Now? It was an unpleasant experience for me.

Dear Tom, I'm sorry you experienced the circumstances as unpleasant. I honestly hesitated whether I should respond and if this was the right medium for it. Not to assert my correctness, because it’s not about being right but about each other's interpretation, but precisely out of respect. Because silence could also convey something that I wouldn’t want: as if I don’t care what you think of it. On the contrary, that is why I would still like to give a brief explanation. You selected me from a list of appraisers, as prescribed by the rules for this type of appraisal. The landowner/developer is the client for the appraisal. I understand that € 800 is a lot of money. At the same time, I would also like to explain, as you know, that you pay half of that and the landowner/developer pays the other half. This too is arranged in the regulations. When I discovered that a photo of the attic was missing, something that happens very occasionally and is usually resolved by the owner or resident who then sends me that little photo via WhatsApp, I contacted you and asked if you could take two photos of the attic. You did not agree with this; it was my job, and in principle you are also right about that. You asked if there would be a discount included. I was surprised because I had never experienced this before and suggested a €20 discount. That didn't meet your wishes, after which you indicated that I should just come by myself for the photo of the attic. Which I did the next day. The tone of our contact at that moment, which I did not experience as pleasant and surprised me, made me suggest giving back the assignment if necessary. Not out of resistance, and not as a pressure tactic but because I genuinely believe in pleasant cooperation without hassle and with trust in each other. During my visit for the forgotten photo, I tried to express things to each other, to understand what the feeling was for you and for me, to clear the air. Apparently that didn’t succeed. What I also mentioned then is that I like to deal with people in a pleasant way and that I carry out my appraisal fairly. By that I mean getting to an honest appraisal without exaggerating. That applies to every assignment and that's what I stand behind in this situation as well. Honestly, we were quite critical and that made the search a considerable challenge for Nikki as well. Nevertheless, one day she came up with a house that was for sale (not yet on Funda!). Our hearts started beating faster; this was the house we had viewed in April 2024 during an Open House Day! Due to circumstances, we did not take action then, but the house made a deep impression on us. They are also very well aware of supply and demand. Everything is discussed and noted properly with you from the beginning, and arranged if there are still things to be settled such as: Energy label, Cleaning of the property etc. and they have a pleasant bidding system where every interested party can make an offer. Viewing days are also organized. In short, a big compliment for the nice handling of the successful sale without worries.

For example, there were some issues with finding an available notary. In the end, our notary was found by the seller's broker. At some point it seemed that two notaries were trying to handle the transfer.
