02 Mar 2025My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Lisette Van Tilburg as our realtor for our recent home purchase. We came to Lisette with a difficult situation: we needed a house as quickly as possible because our lease was expiring in two months and we would have nowhere to go afterwards. Lisette was honest with us that it would be quite a job, especially given the crazy housing market in Amsterdam, but ultimately she more than delivered. Throughout the entire home buying process, she skillfully guided us through viewings, assessing properties, and eventually making an offer and closing. As first-time homebuyers and also expats, we had many questions and Lisette was always happy and willing to answer. We especially appreciated her quick communication. We also felt that she always had our best interests at heart and that she was never pressured to make offers that didn't make sense for us. Ultimately, our initial offer was accepted after a bit of back and forth with the seller and we closed on the perfect starter home for us in just under 7 weeks from our first conversation with Lisette DESPITE a hiccup with our mortgage lender, through which she also navigated as a true professional. For what it's worth: our house was also valued higher than what we paid, so the fact that we had instant equity gave us the feeling that we scored big. We are still in disbelief that she could realize this home purchase so quickly and are so grateful for her expertise which guided us along the way. Highly recommend!

Date unknownMore than a year ago, we sold our farmhouse through Het Betere Boerenerf. We asked for quotes from several real estate agents at the time and ultimately chose this agency despite it being the most expensive. This led us to expect that we would be fully taken care of and provided with all advice. Unfortunately, that has not been the case. We were confronted with a hefty fine because Het Betere Boerenerf did not mention the energy label back then. We raised this issue with Het Betere Boerenerf. Long story short: they are unresponsive. The fine is for us. In short, an expensive real estate agency but the added value escapes us. A small follow-up: the realtor contacted us long after this review. He stated that his response was delayed because he first had to recover from such a review. Furthermore, his reaction was the same as with other negative reviews I find on the site. Namely, it's the customer’s fault and certainly not Het Betere Boerenerf’s. Moreover, he does want satisfied customers but only when the bill is with the customer and remains with the customer.

Hi John. Nice to hear that we can be your real estate agent. Farmhouses that we have for sale, a complete photo presentation and video are often made of them. Not every seller wants all photos published. They sometimes feel it is an infringement on their privacy. Especially with farmhouses, you really have to come and look yourself, experience the atmosphere, smell and feel.

(Farm with catering facility) After posting on funda and our own website, 9 viewings were scheduled within 1 week! Although the first bid was somewhat low (the asking price), the broker still managed to convince us to accept this offer. We are okay with it, even though you naturally hope that your home will be significantly overbid. Tip: The personal attention you receive before working with this broker could also play a more prominent role in the subsequent process. Occasionally we felt like a number. Top. Many reactions to our funda posting and quickly found a buyer. All in all, satisfied with the service provided.

25 Jan 2025For the exorbitantly high commission we received, we didn't get the quality we expected, but rather a kind of do-it-yourself package. Although very friendly, Elwin was complacent, lazy and incompetent. We were not taken care of at all and had to do a lot ourselves: from writing advertising text to correcting artist impressions. Even a second viewing he tried to have us do ourselves. When it became complicated with a buyer who did not fulfill his obligations, his knowledge proved insufficient and he was also not motivated to obtain the necessary information. Due to his blundering and mistakes, we as sellers ended up in a legally very complex situation and even had to hire a lawyer. We withdrew the assignment from Het Betere Boerenerf to limit further damage and risks and nevertheless paid him the previously agreed salary. After that, we sold the house independently. Apparently not hindered by any shame or decency, he still sent us an invoice with the full commission, as if the work had been done by him. In the meantime, we were so exhausted by all the misery that we only wanted peace and agreed to a settlement. We have come to know Elwin as a real estate agent who wants to make as much money as possible with as little effort as possible, regardless of the result for his client. He wraps this in beautiful promises, amicable dealings and the illusion that he is on your side. Don't fall for it!

13 Jun 2024We know Erik through the sale of the weegbree (iris) and this had gone very well so for us it was no question who we needed to contact, that was immediately clear, Erik also had to sell Goudenregenstraat 25. The contact and consultation are pleasant; Erik gives a lot of tips on how to best photograph the property, and it's true, the property looked very beautiful in the photos. The personal story and the beautiful surroundings, Erik takes everything into account. The smooth video was also very nice. Erik honestly tells you what he expects regarding the sale and the price and remains realistic. What is nice is that he ensures that the property immediately becomes very visible through a large reach via social media. This resulted in many viewers right away and ultimately receiving a very beautiful offer for the property. What makes Erik different from other real estate agents? The personal brainstorming, being honest, sincere and above all remaining realistic. I can only say, house for sale? Go to Erik!
