23 Feb 2025My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Lisette Van Tilburg as our realtor for our recent home purchase. We came to Lisette in a difficult situation: we needed a house as quickly as possible, because our rental contract expired in two months and we couldn't go anywhere else afterwards. Lisette was clear that it would be a challenging task, especially given the crazy housing market in Amsterdam, but ultimately she more than delivered. Throughout the entire purchasing process, she expertly guided us, from viewings and appraisals to making an offer and the transfer of ownership. As first-time buyers and expats, we had many questions and Lisette was always willing to answer them. We especially appreciated her quick communication. We also felt that she always had our best interests at heart and was never pressured to make bids that didn't make sense for us. Ultimately, our initial offer was accepted after some back and forth with the seller and we bought the perfect starter home for us in just under 7 weeks from our first meeting with Lisette. This despite a problem with our mortgage provider, which she handled as a true professional. For what it's worth: our house was also valued higher than we paid, so the immediate equity gave us the feeling that we had made a good deal. We still can’t believe she could realize this home purchase so quickly and are enormously grateful for her expertise and guidance. A real recommendation!

(Farm with catering facility) After posting on funda and our own website, 9 viewings were scheduled within 1 week! Although the first bid was somewhat low (the asking price), the broker still managed to convince us to accept this offer. We are okay with it, even though you naturally hope that your home will be significantly overbid. Tip: The personal attention you receive before working with this broker could also play a more prominent role in the subsequent process. Occasionally we felt like a number. Top. Many reactions to our funda posting and quickly found a buyer. All in all, satisfied with the service provided.

18 Jan 2025For the exorbitantly high commission we received, we didn't get the quality we expected, but rather a kind of do-it-yourself package. Although very friendly, Elwin was complacent, lazy and incompetent. We were not taken care of at all and had to do a lot ourselves: from writing advertising text to correcting artist impressions. Even a second viewing he tried to have us do ourselves. When it became complicated with a buyer who did not fulfill his obligations, his knowledge proved insufficient and he was also not motivated to obtain the necessary information. Due to his blundering and mistakes, we as sellers ended up in a legally very complex situation and even had to hire a lawyer. We withdrew the assignment from Het Betere Boerenerf to limit further damage and risks and nevertheless paid him the previously agreed salary. After that, we sold the house independently. Apparently not hindered by any shame or decency, he still sent us an invoice with the full commission, as if the work had been done by him. In the meantime, we were so exhausted by all the misery that we only wanted peace and agreed to a settlement. We have come to know Elwin as a real estate agent who wants to make as much money as possible with as little effort as possible, regardless of the result for his client. He wraps this in beautiful promises, amicable dealings and the illusion that he is on your side. Don't fall for it!

05 Aug 2024We know Erik through the sale of the weegbree (iris) and this had gone very well so for us it was no question who we needed to contact, that was immediately clear, Erik also had to sell Goudenregenstraat 25. The contact and consultation are pleasant; Erik gives a lot of tips on how to best photograph the property, and it's true, the property looked very beautiful in the photos. The personal story and the beautiful surroundings, Erik takes everything into account. The smooth video was also very nice. Erik honestly tells you what he expects regarding the sale and the price and remains realistic. What is nice is that he ensures that the property immediately becomes very visible through a large reach via social media. This resulted in many viewers right away and ultimately receiving a very beautiful offer for the property. What makes Erik different from other real estate agents? The personal brainstorming, being honest, sincere and above all remaining realistic. I can only say, house for sale? Go to Erik!

This was very well prepared and at the end of the conversation everything was clear and we could start immediately. During the purchase process, we were always kept informed via a group app, where we got to know not only the realtor themselves but also other employees directly. In short, everything was arranged well and handled neatly.

The biggest plus is the fact that you can simply have 'WhatsApp contact' informally. Even in the evening hours when the real estate office has long been closed, but you are still sitting on the couch with a burning question... you can usually expect a response from her an hour later. Hup & Fidom real estate agents feels more like a good friend/friend who you occasionally 'appt' with and happens to sell your house. Instead of such a stiff, old-fashioned realtor.
