From the beginning, it became clear that he answered detailed questions only poorly. Instead of clear explanations or expert advice, we often received evasive answers with the message that we 'just had to have a bit of trust'. That is naturally not what you are hoping for when making such an important financial decision. Most of the time during the conversations was spent complaining about his previous and current colleagues. Very unprofessional to vent your complaints about systems or people to your clients. In addition, he initially tried to push us towards a completely new mortgage with another lender instead of taking over the existing mortgage. Only because we as customers insisted, was ultimately chosen for the better solution. That is what we consider to be the reverse of how it should be.
