Date unknownI rented an apartment from you, I was treated very badly. You already had problems when signing the contract because I am from Poland; I had to pay for a floor that was already there, and when I moved out, you didn't want to refund the money or have the flooring removed - this is just one example. Poles who come to your office are treated unfairly, and I also know this from other people.

Too bad about this review. This is a Polish lady whom we have never seen or spoken to. And an unjustified rating. This is completely unknown to us. We regularly rent to Polish people and it never causes problems. However, we work for landlords and do not own any properties that we rent out ourselves. If possible, we would like to know which address it concerns. We suspect it does not belong to our office.

03 Sep 2023Unfortunately, I have never had to pay so much for someone who has added so little. I myself held the online advertising, the many conversations and viewings. Subsequently, I also presented the ultimate tenant. In addition to this costing me a great deal of time and energy, it cost me no less than €699,- excluding VAT. When I received this invoice and indicated that I did not find the work proportional to the price, Tummers Makelaardij showed no room for reconsideration of this invoice. According to Marc, it wasn't even enough because he quoted “we hardly retained anything from this”. I wonder how Marc does this when he “really” has to work for his money, because in this case there was little work preceding it for him, at least considerably fewer hours than he will normally have to put in. I haven’t had such an unpleasant experience in a long time in something that should have been an easy collaboration.

Easy access to both the real estate agent and back office staff throughout the entire process. 23 Jul 2025We had an appraisal done here, as well as with Boumij for comparison. The difference between the two appraisals was over €85,000. Ultimately chose Boumij, and they actually sold the house for a much higher value. This clearly indicates that VDH Wonen is less familiar with the market. When we wanted to approach VDH Wonen to understand where the difference came from, they were not willing to discuss it. Very disappointing. Addition to the response of VDH: I actually worked with this party and provided substantive proof of this. After I stated that I would not deviate from my position, they made it unnecessarily personal. An extra reason to give 1 star.

They came well prepared, with two real estate agents to keep the valuation as objective as possible. The estimate seemed on the high side, but they kept their word. The mortgage process also went smoothly. Jaimy, the mortgage advisor, was pleasant to communicate with and gave clear advice. No moment of stress experienced.
