Date unknownI rented an apartment from you, I was treated very badly. You already had problems when signing the contract because I am from Poland; I had to pay for a floor that was already there, and when I moved out, you didn't want to refund the money or have the flooring removed - this is just one example. Poles who come to your office are treated unfairly, and I also know this from other people.

Too bad about this review. This is a Polish lady whom we have never seen or spoken to. And an unjustified rating. This is completely unknown to us. We regularly rent to Polish people and it never causes problems. However, we work for landlords and do not own any properties that we rent out ourselves. If possible, we would like to know which address it concerns. We suspect it does not belong to our office.

28 Jul 2024Completely unprofessional and unethical agency in the Netherlands/Eindhoven region - My friend lives in Almere and is visiting here. Is it ILLEGAL?! There is no temporary person to manage things in the studio, but outside, so everyone can switch. There are 4 tenants here. It's not my responsibility to constantly check. I spoke with the DNS installation team, which maintains this boiler. Water constantly leaks and we refill it daily. I showed it to them. They clearly said that the boiler needs to be replaced, but that can only happen if the owner pays for it. Furthermore, there are no separate meters for the 4 tenants, so who consumes more gas, water, and electricity? You cannot define that. Install 4 meters for 4 tenants to gain clarity. Tenants pay according to their own meter, problem solved. Moreover, my studio was hardly used in 2023 for 45 days because I travel a lot for work. Despite that, still an extra €1466 of gas, water and electricity costs on top of the rent? Is it my responsibility to clean up dirt and waste in the common area and backyard, as shown in the photos, for years? Does that make sense? - Be very careful when renting through this agency. You are always charged an extra amount without proof and no one will even adhere to professional etiquette to have a decent conversation. - And cleanliness, OMG 😳 😳, come see where I'm staying. I’m staying in a haunted house, full of dirt, broken outlets, cockroaches, insects, rats, spiders, a great view of the backyard, photos added. Damp walls, broken laminate floors are the icing on the cake. You could see snakes in my backyard. Absolutely unhygienic, see attached photos. - Lightcity Housing asks for tickets to be created for any problems, fine. You create tickets, without mentioning an SLA. Later it was suddenly closed with the comment 'well treated by the landlord' - while the landlord does absolutely nothing. So it’s a ping-pong game between the real estate agency and the landlord, and the tenant is the BAL 🏀 Here. - Increases rent at any time, without good explanation. - They don't speak a word, even when I repeatedly asked for a personal meeting - they just hung up, lack of professionalism and not even basic politeness to deal with tenants.

Dear Atanu, You live in a studio that, as stated in the contract, is only available for one person. You are living here illegally with your partner without any notice period. You received an invoice for excessive gas consumption, which you were to share with the other tenants. The landlord saw that the temperature in your studio was set at 23+ degrees! With rising gas prices in 2023, this resulted in a higher gas bill. On the receipt, you stated that the central heating boiler was broken. The landlord sent the contracted installation company and they found that the central heating boiler was working perfectly. Cleaning the hallway and garden is your own responsibility as a tenant! The damp patches in your studio are caused by the high temperature in the studio without opening a window. This causes the studio to become humid and stains appear on the walls!

They ask money for all sorts of nonsense; €60 for printing out a contract, unlawful mediation costs, unjustified retention of deposit and finally exceeding the legal standard of room prices. Positive: they did provide a landlord statement neatly and quickly upon request. @Eigenaar/Marcel; The fact that you can't find me in a database doesn't mean I'm painting a wrong picture or writing unfair reviews.

They selected and chose the landlord themselves, who turned out to have financial problems just a few months later. They were enormously reactive in their attitude and took no action to help us out of this stressful situation. Only after we hired a lawyer ourselves did it become clear that they had not even fulfilled the legal obligations regarding payment arrears. I would not recommend them to anyone.

30 Jun 2025Nice man, but the viewing didn't last much longer than fifteen minutes. The valuation of my property was two hundred thousand euros higher than that of two other estate agents, which made it seem rather unbelievable to me. No area or volume measurements were taken, so I don’t know what the attached measurement list is based on. I asked questions about an unreadable file and did not receive an answer. Furthermore, I find it strange that I am being asked to give a review when I haven't even received the valuation yet. I experienced everything as impersonal. I do not think the invoice amount is in proportion to the services provided.

Hij was ongelooflijk behulpzaam, altijd bereikbaar en toonde uitstekende kennis gedurende het hele aankoopproces. Wat Michiel echt onderscheidt, is zijn kalme en geruststellende houding - iets wat van onschatbare waarde bleek tijdens de vaak stressvolle en emotioneel uitputtende zoektocht naar een woning in de huidige uitdagende Nederlandse huizenmarkt. Een ander belangrijk aspect dat we zeer waardeerden, was Michiels scherpe oog voor detail. Hij hielp ons verschillende potentiële valkuilen te ontwijken door snel problemen in woningen te identificeren die op het eerste gezicht niet duidelijk waren. Veel van deze woningen zagen er op het eerste gezicht fantastisch uit, en zonder zijn begeleiding hadden we ze misschien serieus overwogen. Michiels expertise behoedde ons voor kostbare fouten en we waren oprecht dankbaar voor zijn vermogen om rode vlaggen te signaleren die we over het hoofd hadden gezien. We voelen ons ongelooflijk gelukkig dat we Michiel aan onze zijde hadden gehad. Hij hield ons gedurende het hele traject geïnformeerd, beschermd en gemotiveerd. Kortom, hij was geweldig - we hadden ons geen betere makelaar kunnen wensen.
