About Dennis himself: - Correct - Clear - Friendly - Businesslike The sale of our old house also went through this real estate agent. Photos, Funda, open house, viewings etc. were all organized by the real estate agent. I didn't have to worry about any of this myself. The buying party is also happy with how everything went. 21 Sep 2019Arrogant, poorly accessible and you can't make an appointment with these guys. If you think you have bought a house, they quickly buy it away in front of your eyes. Be careful with these guys. They search for houses on Facebook, approach private sellers, offer/assess the house very low and try to buy it themselves. If this fails, they wait until a buyer makes an offer that the seller accepts and then buy the property away in front of your eyes. This is not a real estate agent but house speculators.

Based on our specific experience, I can name two important advantages: 1) An experienced real estate agent works closely with a mortgage advisor and an appraiser to achieve the best possible offer (from various perspectives). 2) The real estate agent, in our case Roger, has quite a bit of experience and negotiation skills. Therefore, we consider the price we paid for the house as the price we paid for the services of De Brabant Makelaar, since we would not have been able to close that deal ourselves.

16 Jun 2025The Brabant realtor was initially very friendly and very positive. The communication to this seller was no costs, only €650 for the brochure and placement on the internet; the rest would be paid by the buyers who would then pay a small amount because it was included in the mortgage application. As far as that went, everything was fine. My wife did have to do a lot of work; all sorts of things had to be provided. There were also sufficient viewings and we received two bids, one of which we accepted outright. However, two days before we had to go to the notary, the surprise came. We suddenly heard that we still had to pay €4000 in realtor fees. This was nowhere agreed upon and was not listed anywhere in the brochure. After a long conversation with the realtor about our disappointment, surprisingly enough, €1000 of the realtor fees could be deducted at once. I find this situation very disappointing and want to warn future sellers about it.

Date unknownI rented an apartment from you, I was treated very badly. You already had problems when signing the contract because I am from Poland; I had to pay for a floor that was already there, and when I moved out, you didn't want to refund the money or have the flooring removed - this is just one example. Poles who come to your office are treated unfairly, and I also know this from other people.

Too bad about this review. This is a Polish lady whom we have never seen or spoken to. And an unjustified rating. This is completely unknown to us. We regularly rent to Polish people and it never causes problems. However, we work for landlords and do not own any properties that we rent out ourselves. If possible, we would like to know which address it concerns. We suspect it does not belong to our office.

20 Dec 2024Due to circumstances, I had to look for temporary accommodation (Short stay). I quickly ended up with Lichtcity Housing and immediately contacted Khalid about an apartment on their site. Everything was arranged quickly and correctly, and I was able to move into a nice apartment the same day. Very happy with this service! During the check-out as well, everything was checked properly and handled nicely and correctly. Thanks for the pleasant cooperation and good service!

However, costs were charged for the damage and the cleaning. When I asked for proof (for example, that the house needed to be cleaned after my departure), I could not receive anything.

They ask money for all sorts of nonsense; €60 for printing out a contract, unlawful mediation costs, unjustified retention of deposit and finally exceeding the legal standard of room prices. Positive: they did provide a landlord statement neatly and quickly upon request. @Eigenaar/Marcel; The fact that you can't find me in a database doesn't mean I'm painting a wrong picture or writing unfair reviews.

06 Oct 2024Terrible experience. DHVC managed our rental apartment for almost 3 years. They selected and chose the landlord themselves, who turned out to have financial problems just a few months later. They were enormously reactive in their attitude and took no action to help us out of this stressful situation. Only after we hired a lawyer ourselves did it become clear that they had not even fulfilled the legal obligations regarding payment arrears. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Date unknownBAD company! charges service costs to both tenant and landlord which is prohibited by law. After sending official letters requesting reimbursement, they simply didn't respond. This company has just stolen over 900 euros from me in this way! Furthermore, they refused to return the key deposit when I went to hand in the keys. So they take money as a deposit but don't give it back! Scammers! Edit: There has indeed been contact with you via my lawyer. I still have all the emails saved. YOU charged service costs to both the letting and renting party. YOU are responsible for this, not the landlord. I see that I am not alone. Shame on you for acting like this now!

We had to ask for the brochure, the for sale sign, photos, brochure, and even for the final check on the selling price. After 15 minutes of talking, it became clear he wasn't qualified to assess our house (vab former agricultural destination). If he had prepared even slightly, he would have known this beforehand.. Returned without achieving anything. This is how we wasted a lot of time with the mortgage application.

Your review paints an inaccurate picture. The valuation could not proceed because the owner explicitly forbade me from taking photos of the property. 25 Aug 2025Our notary needed a valuation report for our new home to determine the transfer tax. The real estate agent referred us to Zicht op Wonen. We indicated when the transfer of the property would take place and asked if we could receive a valuation report by that time. There were six days between the appraisal and receiving the report, which we received only one day before the transfer. It would have been nice if we had received the report sooner, but it was just in time, and we were very helped by it.

Now we got the same appraiser again, which was very pleasant. Ron immediately saw what we had renovated in the meantime and which improvements had been made. He was enthusiastic about it, and that's nice when it is shared. All in all definitely recommendable
