Date unknownAfter a few days of negotiation, you are then congratulated on the purchase of the property. The bottle of wine being opened is mentioned as a cliché. Less than a day later, a phone call: a former candidate has unfortunately re-registered and offered more. All this without any transparency. A nice way to artificially inflate the price. Of course, reference is made to the fact that all of this is within legal frameworks. Well: even shady used car dealers operate within those same legal frameworks. Long story short: probably a good sales broker. But don't waste your time as a buyer. We’ll continue searching. Finally: please do not respond with a standard social media excuse Update: more than a month later, the property in Ravenswaaij is still for sale. Our suspicion seems to be confirmed.

Dear Corné, We have tried to contact you over the past few weeks, but unfortunately that has not been successful. We are sorry that you felt frustrated about the process, or perhaps still feel so. Writing this review shows that the disappointment (understandably) is great, and that there may still be some uncertainty about the process surrounding buying and selling a home. We would like to clarify the situation. We would of course have preferred to explain this personally, but since we were unable to make telephone contact with you, this may be a way to start the conversation again. After a verbal agreement was reached, an unexpectedly better offer came in from another party. According to the rules of the NVM, we are obliged to discuss this with the seller, due to the requirement for written documentation in law, after which the seller ultimately makes the final decision as to whom they sell to. We explained the situation at the time, however unpleasant it was, & gave you the opportunity to revise your offer. Of course, we respect that you chose not to do so. The selling party then made their choice for the other purchase proposal. We want to emphasize that we have tried to handle the situation as carefully as possible. As an office, we have conducted the process as transparently as possible for all parties and the bid log, as required by law, can still be requested from us. 07 Nov 2023A few days in this lovely tiny house to unwind. Nicely furnished with everything you need. Parking on the yard space to unload everything and be able to put a chair in the sun everywhere with a beautiful view over the meadow. We only had sunshine, but with rain you can perfectly sit inside with 2 people. By bike or by car you are quickly in the center for groceries or to visit the evening market in the summer months. Look up when these are or ask upon arrival. The owner's dog, a Bernese Mountain Dog, is very sweet and you only see him occasionally.

21 Aug 20259+real estate agents helped us well with the sale of our house. Received a clear price range in the first conversation. The home stylist gave us useful tips. The photographer was skilled and took beautiful photos. It took 1 week before we received the brochure. We did have to chase it up ourselves to get the property listed on Funda on the day we chose and were advised (negative point). Just before the property went live on Funda, the selling price was only determined, which in our opinion could have happened a bit earlier. We received a clear report from each viewing. The bidding process was exciting but we still got a good offer. All in all, a good real estate agent.

21 Jul 2025I had to think about this for a long time but still wanted to share it. I had a viewing for a house in Kattenbroek a few months ago, which was a pleasant experience in itself. It was just a bidding sale that, as far as I know, would close on Friday or Monday around 12 o'clock. My purchasing broker then submitted our bid a few minutes before the deadline. Then we were called that evening with the story that the property had actually been promised to someone else by the sellers but that I still had the highest bid. Then came the question of whether my offer was also without a financing condition. I indicated that it was. Eventually, however, the house went to the party to whom it had initially been promised by the seller. My suspicion, and why this feels bitter to me, is that my bid was passed on to the initial party and they got another chance to match it so that the sellers could get an even better deal and also keep their promises. Otherwise, I can't explain such a phone call. Furthermore, the highest bid is simply the highest bid when it works with registration. If the latter is not correct and there is a completely different explanation, I would like to hear it here, but I don’t think I can close this properly because it has been a very disappointing experience...
