07 Oct 2025No good experience with this real estate agent. We engaged Vesta to assist us both in the sale of our home and in the purchase of a new home. After initial conversations and one unsuccessful bid on a house, contact with Vesta became less frequent until communication completely stopped. A property profile was supposed to be created for us with suitable houses, but this never got off the ground. We then, after weeks of radio silence, were forced to engage another real estate agent who successfully managed to help us move. Now, a year and a half later, an invoice of 500 euros for cancellation fees has been placed on our mat. Technically/legal correct but it feels easily earned, doesn't it? If you're looking for a real estate agent who can guide you from start to finish, keep looking.

We didn't want to just sell our house to anyone after 28 years, and he understood that perfectly. I found it incredibly exciting, but Martin was there, understood it, and guided the process in a warm and empathetic way. Accessible, connected to who we are, and with an eye for the entire process. Besides Almere, he is very familiar with Lelystad, which was very important to us. We also appreciated that he well supported the buyers of our house because they were very enthusiastic but also overwhelmed because they're so in love with our house. Because it was vacation time and the deadline to make an offer was extremely tight, we actually assumed that we had to handle this ourselves. To our surprise, Egbert Jan called us back the same day, with very valuable information. He had reviewed all documents in a very short time and immediately provided a complete and clear advice. The flexibility and thoroughness of that advice really surprised us positively. The subsequent bidding and negotiation process was short and very intense, but excellently guided. Egbert Jan managed to finalize the purchase for us. What struck us most was his personal involvement. Within no time he had dossier knowledge and even on the weekend he arranged things for us.
