I had to think about this for a long time but still wanted to share it. I had a viewing for a house in Kattenbroek a few months ago, which was a pleasant experience in itself. It was just a bidding sale that, as far as I know, would close on Friday or Monday around 12 o'clock. My purchasing broker then submitted our bid a few minutes before the deadline. Then we were called that evening with the story that the property had actually been promised to someone else by the sellers but that I still had the highest bid. Then came the question of whether my offer was also without a financing condition. I indicated that it was. Eventually, however, the house went to the party to whom it had initially been promised by the seller. My suspicion, and why this feels bitter to me, is that my bid was passed on to the initial party and they got another chance to match it so that the sellers could get an even better deal and also keep their promises. Otherwise, I can't explain such a phone call. Furthermore, the highest bid is simply the highest bid when it works with registration. If the latter is not correct and there is a completely different explanation, I would like to hear it here, but I don’t think I can close this properly because it has been a very disappointing experience...

We found out in early January that our rental contract would not be extended. So there was quite some urgency behind our house search. During a viewing, we met Wilco from 9+ Makelaars. We found him very knowledgeable and someone with a lot of experience. Therefore, we quickly scheduled an appointment ourselves with 9+ Makelaars. After this conversation, we were very enthusiastic and we had great confidence that we could find a house on time. At one point, we came across our dream apartment. 9+ took immediate action and gave us advice on the bid we should make. Afterwards, Wilco conducted the negotiations for us, and much faster than planned, we already heard that our offer was accepted. We were of course incredibly happy about that. 9+ continued to guide us well during the purchase process. Since this is our first home purchase, we had no experience with how everything worked. We could always turn to 9+ Makelaars with our questions. That was a very pleasant experience. January 29th we had our first meeting with 9+ Makelaars, and 21 days later we already signed our purchase contract. For us, this is a real estate agent that we highly recommend if you want to have the purchase of a house well organized!

My house was sold quickly and for a good price. The real estate agent gave clear guidelines for preparing the property for sale, a good explanation of the sales process. I could always turn to them with questions about the forms. There was consultation about the scheduled viewings with an evaluation afterwards. The property was always closed up neatly again. And luckily, the real estate agent is a better negotiator than me. I can recommend this real estate agent to everyone.

Manon Smeeing was our real estate agent and she did a great job. Calm, reserved, friendly, with a good eye for people and what they need, as well as for the beauty and value of our house. All necessary help and requested information came quickly (perhaps sometimes a bit short and businesslike, so we had to ask follow-up questions, but that probably prevents too much information anyway). And the selling price was very good, not unimportant 😉. A real recommendation!

Great realtor! Also highly recommended for first-time homebuyers! The contact with Mark went smoothly. We received quick responses to texts or calls. Wanda quickly scheduled the viewings at a time that suited us. Mark was present at each viewing, where possible; if he couldn't be there, his colleague Reinier was present. Mark was well informed about our wishes and it was clear to us that he had passed this on to Reinier when he came along. During the viewings, they were very knowledgeable about the ins and outs of the property in question, and after each viewing, a calculation for a bidding advice was quickly made. After our offer was accepted, we were also well guided through the subsequent process (a process that was quite unclear to us as first-time homebuyers). We have never regretted our decision to hire a purchasing agent and choosing Fundament Makelaars!

Their presentation was short and powerful; I immediately gave the team the assignment to sell the house. Everything then went smoothly. The property was quickly prepared for viewings. The photo and film session was professionally directed. The presentation on the various media platforms was carefully and thoughtfully compiled. Nothing was forgotten and rightly, the match with the buyer was also made quickly. In short, an absolute recommendation.
