The real estate agent turned out to be unable to sell our house. Eventually switched to Entree Realtors. Unlike the previous realtor, Jan really put in effort to sell the house. Within a week it was settled. There were even multiple interested parties. Coincidence, we don’t think so. Jan was enthusiastic about our house and we believe that this partly contributed to the fact that our house sold quickly with this realtor. Jan and Susan, thank you for everything.

13 Mar 2025In December, we contacted van Pas Makelaars for an initial consultation; realtor Ellen came to visit us and viewed our property, explaining what the process would be. We were still looking for a new home at the time and planned to wait before selling until we found one. Ultimately, we also used van Pas to help us search for a new home, in which Ellen and especially Stijn fantastically helped us find a new home and negotiate the price! After purchasing our home with realtor Ellen, everything was prepared for the sale; Ellen had created a plan outlining when the photographer would come, when the property would be listed on Funda, and when viewings would take place. Ellen also had an idea of when we would receive the right offer and approximately how much that offer would be. Everything turned out exactly as Ellen planned, from the viewings to the right offer – everything went as predicted! This took a lot of worries off our hands thanks to van Pas, which is a very pleasant feeling when selling your own home! 17 Apr 2025Unskilled, unprofessional, and untransparent realtor. 1 star is still too much for this party. The day before yesterday, we had a very unpleasant experience with Eva Hoek, realtor at van Ekeren and Kuiper Culemborg. At 3:47 PM, we submitted an offer, and the bidding was to close at 4:00 PM. At 4:11 PM, I was called to say that we had the winning bid and that the house was ours. An hour later, I was called again with the message that someone else had still managed to submit another, higher bid precisely at 4:00 PM, with the offer coming in via email and through a different email address. Quite a very strange coincidence indeed. Incidentally, it is also odd that as a realtor you don't properly check your mailbox at 4:00 PM and before making people happy who have been searching for a home to buy for half a year. In short: be warned about this kind of practice because your highest bid is now worth nothing with the closing time of the bids.

Now curious how a lottery will go, because interest is high and there's allocation for the apartments. 17 Sep 2024Looking for a new home, I thought it would be a good idea to hire a real estate agent. I didn't know the city of Culemborg and I liked being able to have discussions. With Claudia, I felt fully supported throughout the entire process. I viewed many houses and also made offers, but the market is so idiotic that sometimes bids were even 25% over the asking price. Claudia kept her eyes open for finding a house that would suit me and my son. And while I was occasionally gripped by stress about whether I would ever find a house, she remained calm and confident. She could have advised me differently so that I would settle for less or join the bidding frenzy. Then her assignment would have been completed faster. But no, she didn't do that. I sometimes found that difficult when she again went to view a property and advise me. And then it wasn’t the right property again. Claudia worked hard for me. Also in the follow-up process. She checked everything, raised any issues she thought could be a problem. Even during her vacation! And what was also nice is that she is a building expert and that gave a lot of insight during viewings. I won't buy a house with her for now, but I would definitely do it again next time with Claudia. My son and I have really found our dream home. Ultimately outside Funda. A house that suits us, exactly as Claudia had in mind at the beginning of our journey. I will certainly recommend Claudia to friends if they ask me whether I know a good real estate agent.
