21 Dec 2025After 5 months of intensive (and slightly desperate) searching, my partner and I finally found an apartment in Zwolle through Peper Makelaars, which coincidentally was also the real estate agent with whom we had the most pleasant experience from the beginning. At Peper Makelaars, you feel like they're empathizing with you, which is very nice because finding a home in 2025 can still be quite a trial. I won't mention names, but many real estate agents in Zwolle are very unsympathetic; they don't shake hands, don't ask for your name during viewings and don't bother to send an email when you didn't make it... while they're scooping up buckets of deposit money. Peper Makelaars is the opposite, they don't charge any application fees and offer friendly service as it should be, they're also easy to reach and respond promptly to questions. I can highly recommend the services of David and Tjeerd to everyone!

Reinder clearly has knowledge of the local housing market; no nice words, but an honest and realistic view on the asking price. I received good tips to get my house ready for sale, but what really made the difference for me was the personal approach. I found the sale of my house exciting and I found it difficult to let go of control. Reinder handled this very well, and thanks to his patience and humor I went through the process much more relaxed. After a pleasant welcome meeting with an attractive commission offer, we immediately chose Margadant and cancelled the other real estate agents. We have not regretted that. Despite it being vacation time, meaning we dealt with three different real estate agents, we experienced the sales guidance as pleasant. All three agents were well-informed, the handover between them went smoothly, and we received useful tips during the bidding process. Definitely recommended!
