There were some issues with the photos—no one asked if we wanted drone shots, and although they were taken, they were never used. They make appointments and cancel them without you being allowed to view the property. They have done that twice already. The housing market should be fair and offer all potential buyers the opportunity to view the property and make an offer. Keeping your appointments demonstrates professionalism. During the preparations for the sale of our first home, we chose Saen Real Estate because we didn't get the right feeling with another real estate agent. The property was sold to our full satisfaction, and that is why we again chose Saen Real Estate for the sale of our second home. And again we are very satisfied. The sales process is largely automated via a Move account, where all documentation is uploaded and downloaded. We found this easily accessible and easy to use. Communication with Anniek was pleasant and professional. Our wishes were listened to carefully. The price-quality ratio is what we consider excellent. Because it was the second home we sold, we received an unsolicited 10 percent discount on commission, which we greatly appreciate. And perhaps the beautiful wooden birdhouse that we received after the sale of our first home also played a small role in our choice for Saen Real Estate.

Very nice guidance from Ginger and her team! We have been searching for a home in Zaandam for 5 years and have come across many different real estate agents along the way. Ginger always stood out during the viewings of her houses. She is professional, friendly, always present/on time, and she answers all questions very well. When selling our own house, we immediately knew who our realtor would be; Ginger! The sales process went very smoothly from A to Z. If I could have left more than 5 stars, I certainly would have! Thanks to Van de Steege Makelaars, I bought a beautiful apartment in a relatively short time. The problematic housing market made me pessimistic about the search, but they ensured that I remained hopeful.. and with success! I would like to thank Noah and Ginger in particular for their knowledge, commitment, accessibility and friendliness. Thanks to them, the purchasing process ran smoothly from beginning to end and, as a complete novice, I was well informed about all the steps that needed to be taken. Even after the purchase of the property was completed, I could contact them with questions that were answered immediately, which was incredibly nice! If there is a change in my living situation in the future, I don't have to look any further for a good real estate agent, as I know that I am at the right address with this agency. If your last name is shared with a real estate agency, then you're naturally crazy if you don’t go with them! The process took some time from our side, because we were simultaneously looking for another house, but Fris makelaars has been very helpful throughout the entire process and always had good advice ready when we had questions about something. That took a lot of worry away. The ladies at Fris makelaars also never promised anything nicer than they could deliver and, from what we have experienced, do not participate in the sneaky practices on the current housing market. That gave us a very trustworthy feeling. We hope to not have to engage them for a while, but if it’s necessary then we will definitely knock on their door again at Fris!

Years ago, I bought a house through Hoekstra and van Eck. A very bad experience. Pay close attention if you buy a house with them. Many things they tell you turn out not to be true. I asked if it was a wooden floor or concrete. The real estate agent indicated concrete. I looked in the crawl space and clearly saw wood. And when you point it out to them, they hang up the phone or don't respond to more emails. 1 day after the transfer of ownership, the central heating boiler broke down. They stated that it was my own fault. I pointed them to the terms of the purchase. But they don’t care about that. Also, the house was very dirty (I saw that the toilet hadn't been cleaned for weeks), and the real estate agent said they would arrange it. Of course, they didn't. As soon as their money is in, they are gone and unreachable.

Very bad experience with this realtor. Due to a lack of knowledge and incorrect advice from this realtor, we ended up in a legal dispute with the buyers. One big nightmare of one and a half years and more than euros lost on lawyer's fees and settlement costs.
