Despite the enormous pressure on the housing market, I never felt like a number with Van Rhijn Makelaars. They were involved, fast, and always accessible. My house was ultimately sold well, and I was completely relieved of responsibility throughout the process. 17 Dec 2024Bad experience with a nasty aftertaste. Does not honor agreements, is careless and unreasonable. Agreements made in move account were not kept. Incorrect data published in both the move account and the funda advertisement. When inquiring with the broker about this, he reacted defensively and extremely unreasonably. And washing hands of innocence. As a result, we have been misled and had to incur high extra costs. Afterwards, when asking around, other people shared a similar experience. Our advice would be not to enter into business with this real estate agent.

I wanted a fairly quick transfer and he arranged that too under the motto 'you are my client, I'll take care of it'. No response so far. I really don't know what to think!? Update: After the phone call. Apparently there is a problem with the functionality of their website, hence no response. 13 Jun 2025The reason I came to Blauw Makelaars was that when I myself was looking for a house (years ago) I was impressed by how professionally but kindly Robert conducted the viewings. Kindly informing but not pushing for a sale. When I put my house up for sale, he only reinforced this image. Robert is accessible as an agent to both the buyer and his client, has clear communication and keeps his appointments. Blauw is a small office with Robert, Vincent and Floris with an excellent reputation in Gouda and surrounding areas. You are always approached personally and realistic expectations are made and realized. During the sales process I received clear and good advice and actively thought with me about how we could sell the house as well as possible. I also liked working with a fixed price, as Robert explained it himself; if there is an offer significantly above the asking price in this crazy market, that does not mean that an agent has done better or more work, it's strange to ask for a higher compensation for it. Overall, I would definitely recommend Blauw Makelaars as a local, expert and customer-friendly real estate agency.

We have never encountered a real estate agent like Gerald. His enthusiasm and personal approach were truly special. Instead of simply letting us “look around,” as we were used to with previous agents, Gerald showed us around as if it were his own home. He took the time to make us feel comfortable, which we really appreciated. It felt as though he was genuinely involved and not just completing a viewing. Unfortunately, the location of this property wasn’t what my wife wanted, but Gerald gave us a great tip to register on a website. That has given us new energy in our search for a house. Date unknownTerrible experience with this real estate agency. I was interested in a property that Reinerie put up for sale in IJsselstein. After an offer and then a higher offer, I was called by my purchasing agent. Congratulations, the bid has been accepted, the house is yours. Subsequently, everything was set in motion at the bank for financing. Then, after a few days, I was called back. Unfortunately, the party is off; a higher bid came in. Well, I wasn't up for this kind of games, you can figure it out yourself. Everyone is warned. Don’t cheer too early if this broker calls you with the message: congratulations, your offer on our client's property has been accepted. Don't fall for it! Additionally (after response from Reinerie): It's remarkable that Reinerie blames my purchasing agent, but that says everything about this real estate agency. Now I already knew that a verbal agreement is not legally binding. I don’t need a purchasing agent for that. So now I am to blame? So I shouldn’t have told my children, family and friends the good news yet? It seems to me this is about 'decency' and 'professionalism', and not about the ruling of the Supreme Court of December 9, 2011. Our purchasing agent has indicated that they rarely experience this. The task of a selling broker - as a professional party - is now precisely to avoid these kinds of unpleasant issues. After all, it’s not a Marketplace sale of an old sofa. With a lot of interest in a property, a 'sale by tender' is better for all parties involved. Reinerie has also broken their own glasses (and that of the client), because I had no desire to negotiate further. And I am leaving other properties from Reinerie on Funda alone.
