Despite the enormous pressure on the housing market, I never felt like a number with Van Rhijn Makelaars. They were involved, fast, and always accessible. My house was ultimately sold well, and I was completely relieved of responsibility throughout the process. 17 Dec 2024Bad experience with a nasty aftertaste. Does not honor agreements, is careless and unreasonable. Agreements made in move account were not kept. Incorrect data published in both the move account and the funda advertisement. When inquiring with the broker about this, he reacted defensively and extremely unreasonably. And washing hands of innocence. As a result, we have been misled and had to incur high extra costs. Afterwards, when asking around, other people shared a similar experience. Our advice would be not to enter into business with this real estate agent.

No response so far. I really don't know what to think!? Update: After the phone call. Apparently there is a problem with the functionality of their website, hence no response. I expected that I would tell him the details of the house and discuss the sale, but instead he came with a report on what the current market is like, how things are going in the neighborhood regarding sales, and what the best price would be to put our house up for sale. And he's a technical nerd, so he had already researched how he could make things easier with a click of a button and not to mention his photographic skills and the details in VR. We felt good and chose to work with him. As promised, he made sure that the entire process went according to plan. But luckily we were surprised at our sale and he made sure that he thought along with us and gave the right advice and didn't make the decision for us. Finally, he is super fast and easy to communicate or connect with. You will never feel excluded in the dark. It doesn’t often happen that you sell your house and we are therefore happy that we chose Hugo. Thank you Hugo!

13 Jun 2025The reason I came to Blauw Makelaars was that when I myself was looking for a house (years ago) I was impressed by how professionally but kindly Robert conducted the viewings. Kindly informing but not pushing for a sale. When I put my house up for sale, he only reinforced this image. Robert is accessible as an agent to both the buyer and his client, has clear communication and keeps his appointments. Blauw is a small office with Robert, Vincent and Floris with an excellent reputation in Gouda and surrounding areas. You are always approached personally and realistic expectations are made and realized. During the sales process I received clear and good advice and actively thought with me about how we could sell the house as well as possible. I also liked working with a fixed price, as Robert explained it himself; if there is an offer significantly above the asking price in this crazy market, that does not mean that an agent has done better or more work, it's strange to ask for a higher compensation for it. Overall, I would definitely recommend Blauw Makelaars as a local, expert and customer-friendly real estate agency.
