07 Oct 2025What a great real estate agent we had with Richard. Where he did everything to make the buyer happy, they turned out to be never enough. We opened our home three times for these people. Three times with experts. After we indicated that we would no longer set a price, they started to hassle Richard and his office with the most bizarre questions. Also, they lowered the purchase amount at the very last moment.

07 Oct 2025We bought a house where Richard was the selling agent. During the first viewing we only had 15 minutes because the next one was already waiting outside in the rain. Also during the viewing it was said that there would be a permit for a garage which later turned out not to be the case. Replacing most of the thatched roof was promised to be much cheaper than it turned out to be. During the inspection on the day of purchase, he behaved like a jerk. Maximum 15 minutes for the inspection, reacting distantly to the fact that the previous occupants had left the house dirty and with a lot of junk. When we were at the notary, he did not congratulate us or greet us when he left. What a guy! And for example not reacting to the question why there was tape on a radiator knob, which turned out to be broken. Definitely not a recommendation!! Also bad reaction to questions from our buying agent, for example about the fact that the previous occupants had taken 6-10 bushes from the garden, which is officially not allowed!

However, we would like to clarify a few points: - it was agreed in the purchase contract that some shrubs would be taken by the sellers. This has been fully carried out according to the agreement. - you had multiple access to the property before the purchase and handover. There was a purchasing agent and a structural engineer present. You were also present here. - during the viewing, they spoke about the existing carport, not a garage. - there was a correction to the purchase price when it turned out that the rafter's statement was outdated. - I handed over the key for the handover to the notary, and the celebration after the handover is for the music to play. In Drenthe, the word 'moi' is a greeting. We find it important to work carefully and transparently, and we regret that you have experienced this differently. With kind regards Richard Zwiers

Ultimately, through contact with the homeowners (who were very surprised by the way Snoek makelaars operates), we were still able to get an appointment that had to be rescheduled on the day of the viewing due to “an important appointment”. I was already done with this realtor and now even more so. We are letting this property pass us by with great reluctance. I would not entrust the sale of my home to this firm if I lived near Oosterwolde.

The exact possibilities for viewing were not yet known and we would be called back on Tuesday after the long Pentecost weekend. Meanwhile, it is now a week later on Friday and we have not been called back. We had to call ourselves. A decision has been made for 2 viewing days. The first one is full and the second we cannot attend due to work. And that's what you have to deal with. A slightly customer-oriented real estate agent would, in consultation with the seller, create an extra moment for us because they have been lax themselves. The housing market is so good that they really don't care at all. Look, there will be a bad period in the housing market again sometime and then these kinds of things will not be forgotten. Absolutely not recommended. You don't want a real estate agent like that.

30 Aug 2025Called this realtor multiple times for a viewing In this case, it couldn't be earlier because the realtor wants to do the viewings themselves and was on vacation. So only able to plan something for September 2nd. Then you get canceled because the property is already sold. Very strange. You are put on another schedule and then they shut you down. You don't even get a chance to make an offer while you wanted to set up an appointment on the day of publicity! In short!? Scammers. Selling quickly is nice but you don't even get a fair chance to make an offer! Everything revolves around making quick money.
