17 Feb 2025My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Lisette Van Tilburg as our realtor for our recent home purchase. We came to Lisette with a difficult situation: we needed a house as quickly as possible because our lease was expiring in two months and we would have nowhere to go afterwards. Lisette was honest with us that it would be quite a job, especially given the crazy housing market in Amsterdam, but ultimately she more than delivered. Throughout the entire home buying process, she skillfully guided us through viewings, assessing properties, and eventually making an offer and closing. As first-time homebuyers and also expats, we had many questions and Lisette was always happy and willing to answer. We especially appreciated her quick communication. We also felt that she always had our best interests at heart and that she was never pressured to make offers that didn't make sense for us. Ultimately, our initial offer was accepted after a bit of back and forth with the seller and we closed on the perfect starter home for us in just under 7 weeks from our first conversation with Lisette DESPITE a hiccup with our mortgage lender, through which she also navigated as a true professional. For what it's worth: our house was also valued higher than what we paid, so the fact that we had instant equity gave us the feeling that we scored big. We are still in disbelief that she could realize this home purchase so quickly and are so grateful for her expertise which guided us along the way. Highly recommend!

29 Dec 2024A Real Estate Agency that is not honest in doing business !, The Owner J.Huisjes is also a Mortgage Advisor but also a Real Estate Agent, so he wears two 'hats' as I experienced, while he had sold our farmhouse and I wanted to buy a house through him, he let me bid against a non-existent bidder, so it was 5000 euros more (when I later looked in the so-called bidding register, the bid wasn't even there), that is fraud !,,,,,,then after the purchase was finalized, it turned out he had also arranged something with the neighbor of the sold house, who still received a large piece of land back after 40 years, while this was included in the sale! (and as such was also on Funda) and would have expired anyway!, When I didn't want to accept this, he turned the seller against me ....consequence ...he withdrew the sale...Mr. Jan Huisjes also apparently rented out the upstairs floor to the family for years, so cronyism, ...the neighbor in question was his streetmate...ultimately I was left with nothing! think twice before doing business with this agency

We had to act very quickly and, with the help of Shanice, Frederiek and the other colleagues, this went very smoothly. They took care of everything regarding the purchasing process and were easily accessible for questions and at important moments. Also, compared to other real estate agents, they don't charge a premium price, but a normal fee as a buyer's agent. It’s incredibly nice to have this team on your side when you are starting out!

12 Mar 2025We were recommended Roozeboom by our financial advisor. We have not regretted that. These ladies are very involved, strongly communicative and sold our little house for us. That wasn't easy because it is a holiday home and those aren't easily disposed of. But Roozeboom real estate remained tirelessly committed to it and we experienced them as extremely pleasant and trustworthy. I would hire them again without hesitation. A big ten with a slate and a kiss from the teacher!

12 Feb 2025Do not do business with them... Roozeboom was recently hired as the selling agent in the sale of a house. They were informed from the beginning about a dangerous situation around that house, but they completely dismissed it. Subsequently, they knowingly misled the buyer about that situation. After the buyer complained about this (after the purchase), the response was 'you have a duty to investigate'. Because everything about this is in writing, Roozeboom has made herself and especially her client (the seller) legally vulnerable.
