Benno excellently helped us with selling our house. We ended up at Zelfverkopen after searching for an affordable real estate agent without commission. At Zelfverkopen, you do have the advantages of a skilled realtor who helps with determining the sales price, the property photos, and measuring. When there are questions, time is always taken to provide a clear explanation. You also receive a window sign. The only thing you really have to do yourself is writing the sales text (you will receive enough tips + examples on Funda for this) and (scheduling) the viewings. We found it very nice to be able to take the time during the viewings to convey our enthusiasm to the potential buyers. They then responded that they also experienced this as pleasant. It was also fun to do and contributes to 'saying goodbye' to the house where you have a bond with. The house was sold quickly, among other things thanks to the realistic photos, whereby Benno first reviewed the bids with us. Thanks to the viewings, we already had a 'feeling' about the bidders and were quick to decide. Both parties received the deed promptly. Overall, our experience is great and it is absolutely not missed that the entire process is managed 'remotely'. Nice to keep control yourself while help is always available. I can recommend everyone to offer their house through Zelfverkopen! Update 24-9-2024: after multiple requests, the status on Funda has still not been updated to sold after more than 5 months! We are now getting a 'quick money and through' feeling. Therefore, 1 star off.

As a seller, I searched for a real estate agent who doesn't charge an outrageous fee. Selling a house in this day and age isn’t rocket science in my opinion, while a regular real estate agent charges a premium. You do need some expertise from a real estate agent. Self-selling offers this, Benno is friendly and competent. Clear explanation, you can determine the asking price yourself and deviate from the real estate agent's advice. You write the advertisement text yourself and you conduct the viewings yourself. For the advertisement text you can use ChatGPT: tell it to be an enthusiastic writing style and which unique selling points should come forward. Doing the viewings yourself is also fun (you get some tips), you give everyone who wants to come a chance instead of the expensive real estate agent who imposes a viewing stop after X requests and excludes people at the front because the house will still sell... All in all, a good experience, of course not completely perfect but that's what you pay for (e.g., forgetting to activate Funda statistics, callback from the real estate agent is quick but sometimes takes a few hours, manual questionnaires, bidding not via Move, written explanation can sometimes be clearer, sales sign without a pole, etc.).

As a buyer of a home with experience with this agency, self-selling worked for the seller. Until the bidding process everything went as expected. After that you notice it turns around and everything suddenly runs very rough, until you've been to the notary everything is too much effort and every question is too much. It's simply about raking in commissions and not about customer friendliness; to some extent that will certainly be part of the concept but employee Benno is frankly unnecessarily rude in the hope that you’ll stop sending further emails. Quite an emotionally incontinent person who can turn into a toddler who doesn’t get his way. Maybe other employees are better raised, which could naturally be the case, but given the other reviews I fear the worst! (review edited due to incorrect employee name; it concerns Zelfverkopen.nl)

Beste Ruben, ik lees dat je een huis hebt aangekocht en slechte ervaringen hebt met ene Maurice. Maar bij ons werkt helemaal geen Maurice. Daarnaast zijn onze klanten verkopers van woningen en geen kopers. Ik vrees dan ook dat jouw review voor een ander bedrijf is bedoeld. Desondanks betreur ik jouw slechte ervaring. De woningmarkt is niet makkelijk voor kopers. Helaas geven Google-reviews ons weinig mogelijkheden om iets recht te zetten wat niet klopt, maar misschien kun je daarom ook eens bij de reviews op de Feedback Company kijken. Daar staan reviews van mensen die daadwerkelijk klant bij ons waren en die over onze dienstverlening gaan. Wellicht dat we in de toekomst, jouw recente negatieve ervaring bij dat andere bedrijf, ooit kunnen laten vergeten!

Really unprofessional. Called multiple times, but no answer. You are also not called back. You are also not approached by the salesperson. It leans towards gloomy behavior and untrustworthy.

Beste Jehad, wat jammer dat we geen contact hebben kunnen krijgen. Op werkdagen wordt onze telefoon altijd beantwoord en bezichtigingsaanvragen worden doorgezet naar de verkoper. Ik begrijp uit jouw bericht dat dat gebeurd is, maar dat je niet bent teruggebeld door de verkoper voor een afspraak. Dat is spijtig. Helaas weten we niet om welke woning het gaat of dat er misschien een verkeerd telefoonnummer is doorgegeven? Bezichtigingsaanvragen kunnen ook altijd via Funda worden gedaan of naar ons worden doorgemaild (het contactformulier staat altijd bij de advertentie van de woning). Dat geeft de meeste zekerheid dat de contactgegevens goed doorkomen. Weet in ieder geval dat we je graag verder helpen en hopen dat je de volgende keer gewoon weer contact op neemt als je een leuke woning hebt gezien!

Apparently, I once requested information in 2016 or 2017 and ultimately didn't do business. Last week we suddenly received an email that the photos of our house were ready. So we just received photos of other people’s homes, after which I called and emailed them stating that we did not appreciate this. Now we are being called again while we are not doing business with them. Not professional to simply send photos of a property in Geuzenveld…

Ik begrijp dat u teleurgesteld bent dat uw beoogde aankoop niet door is gegaan, maar helaas heeft iemand anders een beter en hoger bod uitgebracht. Zo gaat dat nu eenmaal in de huidige woningmarkt. Daar wij de belangen van onze klanten zo goed mogelijk behartigen (en dat betekent het beste verkoopresultaat voor hen realiseren, lees: het gewin van onze klant voor ogen houden) hebben wij gehandeld zoals van ons wordt verwacht: in zee gaan met de beste partij. Daar is niets 'snel en goedkoop scoren' aan, zoals u suggereert. Slechts goed makelaarschap. Wij zijn - ondanks uw dreigementen ons helemaal kapot te maken - steeds beleefd en correct gebleven. On the website of his other company, this man calls himself 'honest, skilled and reliable', which apparently is meant to conceal that this man is dishonest and unreliable. Stay away from this company, you will be used and played for the broker's own gain. Has multiple companies, integrity is nowhere to be found. You are barely or reluctantly addressed, as a person you are not so important to this office. Disregards NVM rules, just like rules of integrity and common decency.

En helaas kunnen we iedere woning maar aan 1 iemand verkopen. Dat betekent dat we telkens tientallen mensen teleur moeten stellen. Zo ook u. Het spijt ons dat u uw beoogde woning niet aan heeft kunnen kopen. We houden ons juíst aan de NVM regels, we zwichten niet voor druk en behartigen altijd de belangen van onze klant. Dat betekent dat we iedere woning aan diegene verkopen die het beste bod en voorwaarden heeft. Alle biedingen met bijbehorende voorwaarden worden daarbij voorgelegd aan onze klant. Wij adviseren daarbij en onze klant neemt de uiteindelijke beslissing. Hier zit nergens eigen belang of gewin in. We zouden niet eens weten hoe.
