29 May 2025We bought a house through this real estate agent. He didn't take time for us, during the viewing he was just on the phone. It was very difficult to get in contact with this real estate agent. Afterwards we had contact with the seller of the property and it turned out that the real estate agent had lied about things. And the seller had already accepted earlier offers and the real estate agent hadn't done anything about it, still waiting for higher bids. Unfortunately only looking for commission instead of helping people with a house. Luckily we had a relaxed seller, with whom we could arrange things ourselves. Absolutely not recommended this man! 1 star is still too much unfortunately. A warned person counts for 2.

You make an appointment take time off from work plan it in for a viewing to rent a building and then you get a phone call that they have rented it out to someone else twice !! You are fully taken care of, they are always available, friendly, professional and transparent in communication. We chose Linda as our selling broker and we immediately had a good connection with her during the first meeting. She is very friendly, explains everything clearly and gives good advice. We were sold right away, now if only the house would sell we thought. Everything was top-notch; photographer, measurement of the property, and the Move application made everything even easier. No hassle with paperwork and everything digital. And if you had questions, you could just call, always available with Monique who is always helpful and friendly. The viewings were also well organized, neatly scheduled and clearly indicated in the Move app when and by whom. Linda and Bob (and once Nicole) took care of the viewings and they were well prepared. They seemed relaxed and exuded confidence. After each viewing, you could read a short report of their experience with the client and any expectations. After the deadline bidding period, Linda immediately called with all bids and also gave clear advice. And a week later, we were already at their office signing the purchase agreement in the company of the new residents. Kempen & Oberdorf is absolutely recommended! Linda, Bob, Monique, Nicole and the rest of the team, thank you on our behalf!

07 Jun 2025Misleading & unreliable We made an offer on a property through this real estate agent and we received the phone call with congratulations that the sellers accepted our offer a day later. We were abroad on vacation at that time. At no point did Michel or the back office communicate that the purchase would only be formal after signing the preliminary purchase agreement. We had, of course, already received it, but we were strongly advised not to interrupt our vacation. Everything in good faith. What we didn't know is that there were still other bidders involved, despite the assurance. To our great astonishment and disappointment, the property was sold to the previously rejected party because they had later increased their offer and signed immediately. Due to 'busyness', Michel forgot to submit our higher bid to the sellers. Throughout this process, Michel provided different information about us to the sellers as well as to our intermediary, which is very reprehensible. He deliberately put us on a different track. If you enter into an agreement with this real estate agent, be warned! This cost us the house.

After acceptance of our offer on a property, we were not proactively advised to sign the purchase agreement, nor timely informed about other bids. Meanwhile, the broker gave the sellers a different account of the process than what we knew. Crucial information – including our increased bid – was knowingly withheld from the sellers while the sale was still pending. We only later learned from the sellers what actually happened. This cost us the house. The way they acted raises serious questions about the duty of care, transparency and reliability/integrity of this agency. 📌 Advice to other buyers and sellers: request everything to be documented in writing and don't take anything for granted!

Seems like a friends-and-family system within the brokers' world. Hopefully, the registered bidding will solve this problem in the future.

An honest and a 'no-nonsense' asking price was established that is truly market compliant. The viewings were carefully scheduled and handled professionally. Viewers had sufficient time to view the property at their leisure and to get acquainted with it, which we also heard back from several viewers. The further course of events was processed quickly and well; all bids were accepted correctly and professionally, the purchase contract was drawn up immediately and processed correctly. If there were any questions, they were handled properly and resolved immediately. You are guided very well as a seller, and I think also as a buyer, throughout the entire process. Michel, Lieke, Renaldo, Sandra and Anne, thank you for your great service and help until now.
