They tried to get me to pay before the transfer. I had three agents in our case: the second stopped responding altogether, and the third was somewhat more helpful, but nothing was resolved.

When we found our house, his advice was invaluable in our bids, and he handled all the negotiations resulting in a successful bid. He also took care of all the paperwork afterwards and kept us informed throughout the entire process. Because foreigners were not familiar with the entire process and the complexity of the Dutch housing market, Leonardo's efforts made the whole process so much easier and stress-free. 17 Nov 2024If you want to see an honest review, I advise you to read this story carefully! We ended up with this ‘broker’ (read on why I type this in parentheses) but regret it and do not recommend them at all! Firstly, this gentleman is literally late for every appointment, forcing us to receive the people ourselves (often in our 'cleaning outfit' and with cars full of dogs because we could only move out of the house last minute due to the dogs) can you imagine what impression that gives visitors? Secondly, there were lies about, for example, 4 viewings having taken place while we saw 3 couples on our doorbell camera. Furthermore, this gentleman didn't even see our house in real life and put it up on Funda like that! During the first viewing, he saw the house with the client for the first time... how unprofessional? We have cameras in the house for our dogs, these were stored away, but we could listen back to the sound. Now here’s what happened: we literally heard the TELEFONISTE (phone operator) of this company, who normally only schedules appointments, going to 'sell' our house (so giving the tour) and we saw ‘the broker’ smoking on our doorbell during that tour?! Our eyes and ears almost fell off!!! No one knew why this woman was there at all; this wasn't communicated with us either. Another time, a girl suddenly came along unannounced as well. To top it all off, there have been 11 viewings with 0 bids, yes you read that right. I can tell you we didn’t have a dump for sale. But now with our new broker with years of experience in the profession, it turned out that this man simply put the house up for sale at too high a price, while we ourselves offered to set it €20,000 cheaper than he wanted. Now here's the story: this 'broker' calls himself a broker because apparently it’s a free profession. This is an assumption but I personally think that this man doesn't even have a diploma in this field. He was also simply corrected by customers on some things and you can see that he has no idea what he’s doing. So indeed, you or I could do exactly the same thing; he does no more or less than if you gave your own tour, well at least you would be on time and not let your neighbor or a phone assistant do it :). This is also the reason why he doesn't assess himself; he’s not allowed to, nor is he affiliated with NVM. Well I’m sure I’ve forgotten something since there are so many things that this man does wrong. But to wrap it up; we asked him if he thought everything had gone as he hoped.. and his answer was; yes actually... now we kind of forwarded this story and asked for compensation for the extra month's costs of our house that we are now out of pocket. He didn’t want to, fine, then we indicated that we were going to write an honest review. And surprise after surprise: he sends a threatening message 'that would be a shame for your 5 stars' referring to our company which scores 5 stars, where he has never done any business with whatsoever so has no right to write a review based on nothing/no personal experience? (So pure revenge because we are writing an honest review about a company that we *did* do business with). Well that certainly doesn’t deter us because I want to warn people, and believe me, our house is in a nice neighborhood, almost completely renovated over the past 2 years; you would think this wouldn't be difficult to sell. So think twice before choosing a broker, it really makes a difference, even in these times! Continued: Yes indeed, less than an hour later and this doofus has posted a 1-star review for our company which since its start, and for years has only received 5 stars. Let him show his true colors; this man has never had anything to do with our company. Again: think about who you do business with!

VIND proactively contacted us when a place became available in a CPO project (after we were not selected for Heldersveld phase 1). As a result, we are now building our dream house. In addition, Noa took plenty of time to show us several homes before we made the final choice for the CPO project. The personal and committed advice from the very beginning gave us so much confidence that we also entrusted Noa with the sale of my then-home. Thanks to your efforts, everything was arranged so incredibly quickly that we didn't have to worry about it. When selling our house, vind makelaardij gave us tactics to deal with it properly. We could think about this. Our house sold very quickly; it was nice that they only had a few days regarding viewings so you didn't have to show the house very often. They also arranged that if one broker couldn’t, the other could. Really very nice. That things could always continue like this. The communication didn't really go super from start to finish. For example, sometimes not calling back (after repeatedly having called). Forgetting to mention that a viewing was scheduled. All in all, it went difficult.
