By having the appraisal done here for the purchase of a home, we either had to pay an additional 10,000 euro or have another paid appraisal done by another party because the first appraisal was not real. Unfortunately, we had to incur extra costs as a result, which we could have prevented by not choosing Kleurrijk Makelaars.

The photos were great and I think they really helped with the marketing of the house. Rob took the time to make sure we did everything we needed to do, because selling a house in the Netherlands is very different than in the United Kingdom. We will be sad to leave this house, but we wish the new owners a nice life there.

07 Oct 2025We arrived in Rotterdam at the beginning of August. Verra was recommended to us by my husband's company and the future school of my children. Our realtor was a girl named Elicia, and I can only say that she was so kind, sweet, nice and helpful. Absolutely professional. Because this was our first time in the Netherlands, we had no idea how the market works here. We were used to a fast market and many viewings as quickly as possible. That is not the case here. Elicia was therefore extremely patient with us and especially with my mood at that moment 😬. She remained calm and acted well. She had to explain all government requirements, rules and regulations. Now we are happily living in an apartment to our taste, in a beautiful neighborhood of Rotterdam. Thank you Elicia and keep up the good work 😘

07 Sep 2025Regron carried out the valuation as part of our separation, at the request of the counterparty, who was also the client in this case. Unfortunately, this was an extremely negative experience. From the moment of entry, there was no introductory discussion or attempt to involve both owners in a respectful and equal manner. The appraiser focused solely on one party, failing to adopt any neutral stance. Throughout the entire process, communication only occurred with the counterparty, without informing or involving me as a co-owner. Even if the other party is the client, an appraiser should professionally and respectfully treat both owners – something that was completely lacking here. This created not only the impression but also the feeling that the valuation came about one-sidedly. The appraiser was clearly influenced by the counterparty, which resulted in an unnecessarily high valuation that needlessly complicates the buyout process. In a separation, a neutral, objective and careful approach is essential. Especially in such sensitive situations, an appraiser must act professionally, take into account emotions and tensions, and treat both parties equally. This was completely absent in this case. My experience is that Regron’s attitude makes it totally unsuitable for carrying out valuations in divorce situations.

One time they blame it on a “bug” in their system and another time on it ending up in the spam folder. Also things like receiving a message at 00:30 am about an appointment for the same morning and whether you can open the door because the realtor cannot themselves. Be wise and sometimes a cheap deal is not the best.

He misses a bid/chance to sell, which is fine in this time because he will still sell it anyway but there are certainly going to be worse times and then brokers will beg me to please make an offer. I'm done with the poor quality of work by brokers so I am going to post reviews about all experiences. The broker does not take potential buyers seriously. That is good in times when everyone wants to buy, but this broker will naturally go down when things get worse. I wish sellers much success but would advise a different broker. Update 28-09: Not informed of the bidding procedure but did receive a rejection on the opening bid. Harmful for the seller. I would advise a different broker if I were selling my house.

06 Apr 2025Houtman & De Vogel. I had them highly rated as a real estate agent, but they really completely missed the mark. Making an April Fool's joke by offering a characteristic property for sale in Boskoop. Interested parties received an email back stating that it was an April Fool's joke. Knowing how tense the housing market is, especially among young people, this is a truly hopeless joke. In my opinion, the employees didn't think things through well before doing this. Giving people hope in this way I find very bad. I secretly hope it costs them customers. Very very bad Houtman @ De Vogel.

She explained how Houtman & de Vogel works and what we could expect. Even when it took a bit longer (5 months), she remained positive and fought until the end to get the maximum out of it for us. Super friendly and clear communication throughout the entire process, even responding on free days/hours if necessary.
