21 May 2024It concerned a recreational property with the obligation of another year's rental. To our surprise, and also that of the real estate agent, the banks therefore only wanted to grant a low mortgage. Apparently, they cannot distinguish between a rented property and a holiday home that is rented out periodically. As a result, many potential buyers had to drop out, which naturally influenced the final price.

Another project was recommended, and I would also receive information about that. Now 10 days later, still received nothing. When you call, you constantly get the message that brokers are busy on the phone. I'm fed up with this, this is not a serious company. Update: Thursday, June 3, 2021. The owner has posted the response below. Thinks he’s serious. Nothing could be further from the truth; he claims to have spoken to me on the phone just now. That's not the case, so he's also a liar.

Our broker has informed you in writing prior to signing the purchase agreement that the measurements were taken from the Cadastre (an institute of our national government). Apologies for this miscommunication.

Unfortunately, they stated that they did not have time for this and referred me to their partner, Kooijman Makelaars. Kooijman was invited, but the first appointment was cancelled due to circumstances beyond their control – which can happen. They did show up for a second invitation; the visit went well. However, after that, we heard nothing more, despite several phone calls from my side. Fortunately, we had also approached other real estate agents, so we decided not to award them the assignment. All in all, a disappointing experience.
