We have two young children and didn't want to be at home during the sale. Sjoerd and Willeke were enormously helpful in viewing all the houses, providing tips and advice on making an offer. Throughout the entire search, they have been very empathetic and involved. From the first moment on, we as a family had full confidence in this office and that proved to be justified. The property had to be sold as a result of the owner's dementia and unfortunately passed away before the final transfer at the notary's office. The house was listed on funda within 1.5 weeks and sold for more than the asking price within 3 days. I sold the house together with my ex-partner, she unfortunately did not leave a good review for these gentlemen, which is a shame. She was simply angry because she had little to say about the sale. I definitely recommend these gentlemen!

Afterwards, we were left with his replacement, Remco, and that was a terrible experience all around. Here's a list: 1. Remco never answered when you called and didn't respond to messages -- even the notary mentioned during the sale that Remco is known for being unavailable. 2. Remco also didn't introduce himself after taking over from Skender. He didn't say anything and offered no information about the viewings he had planned. 3. Remco provided false information during the viewings, which has also negatively impacted the selling price of our house. 4. Remco was very rude all around. 5. Remco sold items with the house that were not for sale. 6. When Remco was confronted about this, he said: 'I'm not going to negotiate over a few items.' Ultimately, due to his attitude and unwillingness to advocate for our interests, we were unable to keep our belongings. 7. Remco made agreements with the purchasing party regarding the terms of the sale that were not discussed with us. When the notary tried to call him about this, he -of course- didn't answer either. And so on. When we contacted Skender about the substandard service provided, Skender was very indignant that we were dissatisfied. He did not acknowledge our frustrations and we also experienced no improvement or received any apologies. All in all, there was a huge lack of transparency, accessibility and customer focus. It is absolutely not recommended to work with either of these two men. They are both completely incompetent and unprofessional real estate agents.

I contacted them because I wanted help determining a good offer for a house, as I naturally want to make an offer that is proportionate to the house. Ultimately came up with an offer that was tens of thousands of euros above the appraisal value and above other bids. Of course, you only find out about that later. I don't understand house prices, so that’s why I engaged a buyer's agent. So yeah, too much trust. But unfortunately, Skender showed 0 reflection and responsibility in this and mainly wants his invoice to be paid.

Bij mijn aankoop heeft hij bijvoorbeeld rustig doorgepakt in de onderhandelingen terwijl ik zelf al akkoord was, daardoor uiteindelijk een veel betere prijs gekregen. Heel betrokken en betrouwbaar.

Destijds hebben we de standaard en professionele procedure gevolgd. Aan het begin van elke huurperiode wordt een gedetailleerd incheckrapport en aan het einde een uitcheckrapport opgemaakt. Deze rapporten documenteren simpelweg de staat van de woning op beide momenten. Als makelaarskantoor zijn wij niet betrokken bij het inhouden of bepalen van de borgsom. Wij leggen alleen de actuele situatie vast via de inspectierapporten, waarna de eigenaar de uiteindelijke beslissing neemt. In uw geval zijn er tijdens de uitcheck verschillende problemen geconstateerd, voornamelijk met betrekking tot de hygiëne. Deze werden duidelijk gedocumenteerd in het rapport en ondersteund door foto's. Hoewel dit jammer is, had het gemakkelijk voorkomen kunnen worden als u als huurder de woning schoon en goed onderhouden had opgeleverd. 27 Oct 2025Ongeveer een jaar geleden verhuisden we vanuit de Van der Zaanstraat 1 3317WT Dordrecht. Melvin de Makelaar vertegenwoordigde de huiseigenaar en gedroeg zich zeer onbeschoft tegenover ons, huurders, bij de uitcheck. Eerst waren ze te laat voor onze uitcheckafspraak en vervolgens vertelden ze ons dat we moesten betalen voor een vuile oven. We vroegen om hem schoon te maken, wat 20 minuten werk was, maar hij weigerde. Later haalde hij € 250 van onze borg af. Zeer onbeschoft gedrag, ik zou deze makelaar nooit aanbevelen. Overigens heb ik later de eigenaar aangeklaagd en mijn geld teruggekregen.

10 Oct 2025Melvin heeft echt alles uit de kast gehaald om ons te helpen ons droomhuis te vinden. Hij was ongelooflijk geduldig met mijn man en mij gedurende het hele proces. We hadden een heel specifiek type huis in gedachten en een duidelijk budget, en hij deed er alles aan om ervoor te zorgen dat we het best mogelijke huis binnen ons budget vonden. Melvin is zeer professioneel, proactief en enorm behulpzaam – maar wat het meest opviel, is hoe oprecht vriendelijk en benaderbaar hij is. Als buitenlander kan het navigeren op de Nederlandse huizenmarkt behoorlijk intimiderend zijn, maar Melvin heeft ons door elke stap met zorg en expertise begeleid. Ik zou Melvin zeker aanbevelen als makelaar aan iedereen die een huis in Utrecht wil kopen!

10 Apr 2025We have collaborated with Melvin twice. Both times it was a great experience, and most importantly, Melvin helped us both times in finding the right house for us. The first time we were looking for a property in the Netherlands. We weren't even in the Netherlands when we did so. Melvin is a good listener. He listened to all our wishes and requirements, made a shortlist of houses that were on the market, and after the second (online) viewing, we had our first house in a new country. He also knows the market and all the details about it. That helps with the negotiation and bidding process. After living in a rental property for 1.5 years, we decided to buy a home of our own. We knew who to call. Melvin of course :) Here too, he listened carefully to us, gave good advice, and put us in contact with the right people (notary, mortgage advisor, technical inspection etc.). After two months of searching, we found a house for ourselves. Melvin played a crucial role in the bidding process and helped us be selected as buyers. We are now enjoying our dream home. For the sale of my mother's house, we were guided by Hans Konings. He is honest and clear about what can and cannot be done. Very helpful, even with the buying party who did not have a real estate agent. Everything arranged from A to Z. Always responds quickly, even in the evening or on weekends. Always keeps his appointments. In short, I am very satisfied with this real estate agent.

He guided us well through the sales process, and was the only one of the three brokers we had invited who came up with the good idea to have photos taken during our vacation. That pragmatic attitude is characteristic of Hans and decisive in our choice for him. We have not regretted that. Hans adapts easily and is flexible in his approach. He listens well to wishes and then gives good advice. He always responded within a day to our questions and he kept appointments. After some setbacks in our own purchase process, he recommended another skilled purchasing broker, Kersten. Which made us feel enormously helped. We can confirm, as several reviews already say, that Hans is a friendly, honest and skilled broker!

The preparation requested for the apartment (photos, video, etc.) bore fruit, and the market knowledge our agent Mark displayed from the start was impressive. We especially appreciated that they never left us in the lurch despite all difficulties, always focused on selling our apartment. A true recommendation!!! P.S. Having said that, I fear moving is still a mess :)
