No nonsense, just people who know what they're doing and are well-versed in their field. The communication went very smoothly. Both the realtor and the inside service kept us carefully informed. During the sale days, we were briefed multiple times a day with updates, which was extremely nice. Also, everything went smoothly in writing. 13 Sep 2024In short: just don't do it! Explanation can be found below. ________________________________________ From A to Z, this process has been very unprofessional. The real estate agent we appointed for the sale, Skender, went on vacation immediately after accepting the offer, without any notification. Afterwards, we were left with his replacement, Remco, and that was a terrible experience all around. Here's a list: 1. Remco never answered when you called and didn't respond to messages -- even the notary mentioned during the sale that Remco is known for being unavailable. 2. Remco also didn't introduce himself after taking over from Skender. He didn't say anything and offered no information about the viewings he had planned. 3. Remco provided false information during the viewings, which has also negatively impacted the selling price of our house. 4. Remco was very rude all around. 5. Remco sold items with the house that were not for sale. 6. When Remco was confronted about this, he said: 'I'm not going to negotiate over a few items.' Ultimately, due to his attitude and unwillingness to advocate for our interests, we were unable to keep our belongings. 7. Remco made agreements with the purchasing party regarding the terms of the sale that were not discussed with us. When the notary tried to call him about this, he -of course- didn't answer either. And so on. When we contacted Skender about the substandard service provided, Skender was very indignant that we were dissatisfied. He did not acknowledge our frustrations and we also experienced no improvement or received any apologies. All in all, there was a huge lack of transparency, accessibility and customer focus. It is absolutely not recommended to work with either of these two men. They are both completely incompetent and unprofessional real estate agents.

27 Oct 2025About a year ago, we moved from Van der Zaanstraat 1 3317WT Dordrecht. Melvin de Makelaar represented the homeowner and behaved very impolitely towards us, the tenants, during checkout. First, they were late for our checkout appointment and then they told us that we had to pay for a dirty oven. We asked for it to be cleaned, which was 20 minutes of work, but he refused. Later, he deducted €250 from our deposit. Very impolite behavior, I would never recommend this real estate agent. By the way, I later complained to the owner and got my money back.

The first time we were looking for a property in the Netherlands. We weren't even in the Netherlands when we did so. Melvin is a good listener. He listened to all our wishes and requirements, made a shortlist of houses that were on the market, and after the second (online) viewing, we had our first house in a new country. He also knows the market and all the details about it. That helps with the negotiation and bidding process. After living in a rental property for 1.5 years, we decided to buy a home of our own. He guided us well through the sales process, and was the only one of the three brokers we had invited who came up with the good idea to have photos taken during our vacation. That pragmatic attitude is characteristic of Hans and decisive in our choice for him. We have not regretted that. Hans adapts easily and is flexible in his approach. He listens well to wishes and then gives good advice. He always responded within a day to our questions and he kept appointments. After some setbacks in our own purchase process, he recommended another skilled purchasing broker, Kersten. Which made us feel enormously helped. We can confirm, as several reviews already say, that Hans is a friendly, honest and skilled broker!

Unlike other real estate agents, Kevin shows a lot of commitment, flexibility, is always available for consultation, and likes to think along with the wishes of the client. In contrast to my previous real estate agent, Kevin demonstrates sharpness and extra experience to achieve the optimal outcome. Even when Kevin was busy with private circumstances, he ensured that I could have the best customer experience. His commission is also very favorable. By far the best price/quality ratio.

He possesses all the good qualities of a great real estate agent: a) Quick response, even during his vacation. Always ready to answer all our questions, especially since we as expats had more questions about the process, neighborhood, etc. b) Very well informed about the surroundings, the market and always willing to give advice based on his experience. c) We fully trusted his advice and guidance and he was always there to help beyond his scope of work. He even answered our mortgage questions. Hans, you should definitely take this job because you are too good at it. d) He has good connections and a good reputation among other real estate agents in the market, which gives him an edge or rather, a head start over others. Finally, he is a very good person with passion for his work and we highly recommend him. I would give him more than 5 stars if possible :). Thank you so much Hans for your help and guidance :)

A real estate agent who knows the neighborhood where you live has several advantages. Ultimately, we chose Punt Makelaars. Punt Makelaars has a good understanding of the market in Leidsche Rijn through years of experience and uses the right tactics regarding asking price. Real estate agent Sam knew exactly how to properly market the house, and Marylene ensured smooth communication and guidance throughout the entire process. They were both always available for questions and kept us well informed about developments on the buyer's side. Even on weekends, the sales process continued, and Sam was always available to provide us with explanations and advice. In short, we had a top-notch experience with Punt Makelaars. 31 Jul 2025I would recommend Punt 100% if you want to buy a house in Utrecht! Because they are slightly larger than the other offices, they are flexible with scheduling viewings and ensure that you can attend, which meant that we had a house in 6 weeks, for a good price. Bas also helped us excellently afterwards with some setbacks after the purchase, much more than we expected since the sale was already finalized. Bas & Punt really stood by our side throughout - which saves a lot of worries when you buy your first home. A real estate agent is not cheap, but without Punt it would have cost us much more. Top then.

From the beginning, he helped me learn the many important aspects I needed to pay attention to during viewings, and he guided me clearly and patiently through the process and the viewings, taking into account my personal preferences and needs. Overall, I could always schedule a viewing for a property I was interested in, and if Sam wasn't available, another real estate agent would step in.
