Edit: this buyer's agent had repeatedly pushed for a good Google review themselves and as a result, this one was posted. But now revised. During the bidding, the agent said up to 2x that someone else had made a comparable bid and/or whether I wanted to increase my bid, which I did. Later I received the bidding logbook and in it there were no other bids that came close to mine (approx. 30K difference) and also the previous owner indicated that after my bid, they had no other bids of comparable height, which they were unhappy about. Apparently the agent had convinced them of a higher selling price and thus drove up the price and led me astray. I will not trust them anymore and advise to think twice before buying a house from them. My confidence is gone and I have paid too much due to the agent's deception.

A well-known person asked me to evaluate a rental agreement from Floortje Schouten (Floor Real Estate). A name that suggests it's a heavy-weight; but what a mess. Wrong references, references to penalty clause articles that don't exist, referring to things that also have nothing to do with a regular house, duplicates in articles, articles that stop halfway, and suddenly continue two pages and two article numbers further. It looks like the purest cut-and-paste job... I'm not a lawyer, but have seen many contracts in my business life. This is by far the sloppiest, least professional one. And also: unclearness about the energy bill (no own meter, yet a so-called independent house..., unclearness about the used deposit amount). With a correct reaction on 'can we see the annual statement to verify whether that amount is realistic?') you don't have to worry about it, but if it's avoided. And that happened. 'This person is clearly legally trained. Customer, don't do business with them, it leads to trouble.' No self-reflection, very shameful; and even worse: not wanting to do business with someone who just signs a good contract; worrying. And that for an NVM real estate agent...

We are extremely happy with our experience with Floortje! She found our dream apartment in Utrecht in just one week. The communication went excellently and she was very professional. I had a viewing scheduled for an apartment, but to my great disappointment, this appointment was canceled only two hours beforehand. This is not how one should treat customers. My partner had to travel especially far and was already on the way, and I had to completely rearrange my work schedule to attend this appointment. I find it very unprofessional to cancel an appointment with such short notice. This demonstrates a lack of respect for your customers' time and effort. I hope that you will handle scheduling and canceling appointments more carefully in the future.
