13 Nov 2024Old-fashioned realtor who was perhaps relevant in the past but is no longer so in the current market. Has no strategy other than posting on funda and seeing what comes of it. Communication also leaves much to be desired; the first time he informed us that the photographer would come Thursday morning (this is too short a notice, we work full-time) and then got angry when we wanted to change it. This also happened with viewer visits, visit from the appraiser, eventual buyer etc. The final inspection he wasn't even present at because he had forgotten to schedule it. We coordinated directly with the buyers to carry out the final inspection ourselves. Purchase contract was also only on paper and no digital copy available unless you scan it yourself.

Date unknownHopeless real estate agent, don't enter into an agreement with him and have it sold by a REAL agent! This man pulls strange antics. You’ve agreed to a purchase via app. A day later you go to sign and the day before signing you are told that the sale is not going through and it has been sold to someone else! How?!???? Don't take this man with you as a buyer's agent either, this isn't right! Just for fun, check his website 😂 This dates from the Stone Age! I would be mortified if this were my business card! I call to ask if a house is available? Yes it was, fine and when can I come? Email me and we’ll make an appointment! Great, I've been sending emails for two days and get no response at all! If you are busy, just let me know and that’s fine. I’m calling until I go crazy, no response! This man probably earns enough to adopt this attitude!? It’s beyond belief… So don't enter into an agreement with him! A turtle with a broken knee is faster than this “agent”. And the best man sells houses to others while you have verbally/via app agreed that the purchase is fixed.

13 Nov 2024Criminal bad realtor. Piet Hein Ormeling does not respond to emails or WhatsApp messages, communicates poorly, deliberately conceals essential defects of a property, and is enormously rude and unkind. I don't understand how realtors like this even exist.

13 Nov 2021Don't do business with this realtor! Firstly, he was late for the viewing. Secondly, it was very difficult to reach this realtor by phone or email. He simply ignores your voicemails and emails. Furthermore, he wasn't transparent about the bidding process either. Subsequently, I placed a bid on the viewed house. There was no feedback whatsoever. Waited over two weeks and called in between, but then there was a vague story that contacting the seller was difficult. Ultimately, I heard that the offer had been rejected and that there was also no room for negotiation anymore because they had already agreed to another offer. Very strange, because we had more than 2 weeks to negotiate, but we never got that chance. Again, think twice before doing business with this realtor. He won't help you forward, he will only obstruct you.

13 Nov 2019This realtor did not serve us as potential buyers in our request to do a viewing. When we, a month later, put on our brave faces and approached the sellers ourselves, it turned out that the property was simply available. The sellers were happy that we had taken initiative ourselves.

Afterwards we met Melle in Lelystad for an appointment; it was a very nice and knowledgeable conversation. He knows his business well and is extremely professional, kind, and considerate. Although we did not end up taking the property, we are very pleased with this real estate agent. We even had another pleasant chat afterwards. In the future, we will always think of them. 03 Sep 2025Had a viewing today in Lelystad. We arrived at the viewing and the advisor who presents himself as an agent named Melle opened the door and said we could look around the property. He then continuously looked at his phone and couldn't answer any questions about the house. Very uninterested. At the end of our viewing, we asked some questions including whether they operate under a NVM contract. When the agent asks why we want to know this, we explain it is because of the condition of the house regarding hidden defects. We mention that this is also why we would like to make an offer (not much below the asking price). Melle gets irritated immediately and stands up. He insults his clients saying they are crazy and slams the door in our faces. Beware of this agency! They will keep you informed about where you stand. And Melle, for your information!! I would definitely recommend a customer service course for you. There is still so much to learn for you.

A few weeks ago we received a phone call saying they had lost our data and then they sent it via email. I responded asking why they needed it again. No response received. That's strange. We called them, and they claimed to have found our data. Then you just let someone know, don't you? Not so.... Poor service.

Date unknownYesterday I received a message from an acquaintance of mine that he had received a phone call from Bol real estate agents from Oosterhout. They had looked up my name on the internet and came to him. Whether he wanted to give my phone number because Bol real estate agents had a property in mind..? The acquaintance didn't trust it and, of course, did not pass on my phone number but contacted me about the strange and intrusive phone call he had received. Apparently, they have never heard of privacy laws at this brokerage. So I contacted Bol real estate agents myself. They were contacting me regarding a negative review from 6 years(!) ago.. They no longer had my number and were now trying to find out my phone number via the internet and my circle of acquaintances, under false pretenses (we have a property in mind). They wanted to talk and hoped to convince me to change my review with a bottle of wine... They are trying to 'resolve' a lot of hassle with legal assistance and a sloppy €1000 in extra costs, 6 years later by bothering my circle of acquaintances and sweet-talking me into a conversation and a bottle of wine... No, even after changing ownership, Bol real estate agents remains a very strange and unprofessional company. I hope that now, after 6 years, I am finally done with the practices of this 'special' realtor. If Bol real estate agents then dares to come up with a response to this review saying: 'It was certainly not our intention to reach someone from your circle of acquaintances on the phone.' then they are blatantly lying! Bol real estate agents consciously contacted this particular acquaintance of mine to ask for my phone number! Worthless reaction!

Date unknownVery bad experience WITH PREVIOUS OWNER ARJEN VAN GORSEL. The broker completely loses it if things don't go according to his plan. He has not been the owner/employee since 2021. In the meantime, I have been approached very nicely by the new owner and staff. They seem to be taking a totally different path and appear very nice. It’s good that it is resolved.

Date unknownSelling a cv boiler with an existing rental agreement while the purchasing party had already stated during the viewing that they did not want it. The Bol real estate agent even claimed upon signing the purchase contract that the purchasing party was absolutely not bound to this, but ultimately ends up with a redemption sum of hundreds of euros & an unwanted boiler... Also, the Bol real estate agent claimed that the roof of the storage room did not contain asbestos. Even when the selling party indicated that this was indeed the case, the Bol real estate agent insisted that it was not asbestos. When confronted again by the purchasing party two days before key handover, the real estate agent stated 'I'm not an asbestos expert'... The whirlpool bath was explicitly discussed in the house brochure. The selling party eventually stated that it was defective. The purchasing party addressed the real estate agent about this but he (again) did not respond... Our personal experiences are very bad with Bol Makelaardij & their realtor Arjan van Gorsel. In terms of the realtor's expertise as well as communication. Our advice: bring your own buyer's broker. It is extra costs, but then you know what to expect & what awaits you.

Regarding the bathtub, we find it unfortunate that the seller confronted you with this; we were not told that it didn't work and the real estate agent was therefore unaware. The asbestos is clearly stated in the purchase agreement and given the construction year of the property, you should have expected that as well. From your reaction, it appears that you do not consider yourself capable and that support in any form would have been welcome in your case, as you write. Of course, we wish you a lot of enjoyment in your home despite everything; it remains a pleasant and spacious residence.

By far they had the best preparation, and even before I hired them, they were already putting in effort and doing research. What particularly struck me is his proactive communication. You never have to wait for his call; before you even think about calling him, he has already informed you. His attention to detail is admirable - he's really a 'Pietje precies' who leaves nothing to chance. 06 Nov 2025Unfortunately not to be recommended... when scheduling a viewing for a house by phone, we were told that we would be called back later. After days of waiting, nothing was heard from them and when we called back to ask why we hadn't heard anything, they said that the viewing time had already passed and that we had to wait for a next opportunity and therefore could not make an offer. We didn't even get to see the house, we weren't allowed to do anything, not look, not bid... they make you wait and put you out of the game without you being able to do anything. Rather a real estate agent who DOES treat their clients normally and gives everyone fair chances!! * response to 'owner', we did call back because you didn't call... Maybe it's an idea that something is done about this within the organization... Because it's extremely bad, especially when you then call back after days and get a grumpy and condescending woman on the phone.

06 Oct 2025Yesterday I viewed the property at Curved Slagters Street 7, where it was previously indicated and promised that there would be two viewing days, and if desired you could come back to view it again the following week. The appointment was made so that after the second viewing day one might submit an offer with a deadline, which is something that often happens and conforms to the agreement. Now comes the twist. I am called today with the story: We have a great offer for you. You must bid by 1600 today because there is already an offer. Firstly, this is unprofessional as a real estate agency does not keep its agreements. Secondly, it shows that as agents you do not stand your ground towards the seller (assuming for a moment that it is not collusive). Thirdly, it is absolutely immoral considering the current housing market. The market is already overheated and bidding wars are somewhat normalized, but doing it this way just heats things up even more! Good luck with business practices like these. You will not win in the long term with such tactics, especially not against established names like Best Real Estate House!

To be clear, we had indeed communicated beforehand regarding the property at Kromme Slagen 7 that there would be two viewing moments and that after the second viewing day, an offer round would follow. This was also communicated to all interested parties. What's important to note is that a seller always has the freedom to accept an earlier offer. If in the meantime a proposal comes in that appeals to the seller, we are obligated to report this and pass it on to other interested parties. This is not about breaking agreements; rather, it is part of our role as agents: carefully representing the interests of the seller while being transparent with all candidates. We understand that this can be disappointing for viewers on one hand, especially in today's housing market. However, you could also view this positively because the initial viewers (including yourself) were the only ones allowed to make an offer, which means you have a better chance. Nevertheless, this is a process where we adhere to the rules and communicate openly about the situation. Our goal is always to keep the journey as clear and honest as possible.
