UPDATE N.A.V. REACTIE VIJFVINKEL Firstly, with regard to the hole in the wall, I want to emphasize that the real estate agent initially called us requesting that we leave the hole as it was. This contrasts with the claim that the sellers reported that the hole could not be repaired in a timely manner. Secondly, regarding the full waste bins, it is important to mention that we were explicitly told that it was normal to leave them and that we should go to the landfill. This contradicts the claim that the office would not have said they found it 'normal'. Later there were indeed matters that, in my opinion, were not unforeseen but clear defects that were not reported. We were also right about this through our legal assistance. A fire in the meter cupboard because all the electrical wiring was not properly connected should surely be noticeable every time your circuit breaker trips. Respectful and transparent conduct are values we all strive for, and I believe that sketching a correct picture of a situation falls under this. Finally, I would like to say that I found it very unpleasant that after my review I was approached several times by the real estate agent both by telephone and via email (by tracing my personal data through their archive) to persuade me to remove or adjust my review in favor of Vijfvinkel. ORIGINAL REVIEW For the client they will certainly score well. But a little respect and humanity towards the buyer is lacking. One of many examples: This real estate agent finds it normal for the seller to leave 3 full containers of waste behind, which would not be emptied until after a month. Despite this being noted during the key handover, the real estate agent stuck to her position that we, as new residents, should dispose of the old residents' waste if we wanted space in the containers before our move. Frankly antisocial. In addition, the real estate agent also thought it was perfectly normal for the previous owners to leave a large hole in the wall for us, while this arose after signing the purchase agreement. For this reason alone I would personally never choose this real estate agent.

We naturally feel it's important to contact a buyer who is not happy and places such a review without discussing the dissatisfaction personally. This was appreciated and the buyer confirmed that we were not informed of defects that emerged later. The buyer then spontaneously said they would ‘adjust’ the review somewhat; we did not ask them to remove (or adjust) the review. Quite the opposite is true. After the phone call, we sent a confirmation of what was discussed including our statement that we would respond to the review to paint a clear picture. Of course, we have the contact details of our buyers. ______ Dear Lotte, following your words in this review, we had contact with each other. A year and a half ago, you purchased the property through our agency. Before the transfer, the sellers reported that a hole in the wall (due to a repair) could not be repaired in time. It was agreed that the sellers would resolve this. This was subsequently recorded in the inspection report and also carried out by the sellers. It is true that there has been contact regarding full waste bins. Unfortunately, this cannot always be avoided during a move. That we would find that ‘normal’ are not our words. You mention the above as one of many examples. Only now have we been told about unforeseen circumstances later on. We were not informed about these by you so we could not act where possible, very regrettable. Respectful and humane conduct are our core values; we therefore like to paint a fair picture of this situation.

6 Makelaars heb ik uitgenodigd, nadat ik besloot mijn huis te verkopen. Vanaf het eerste contact en de eerste afspraak sprong Maarten Makelaardij Drecgtsteden eruit. By far de beste voorbereiding en nog voordat ik ze had ingehuurd, was er al inzet en uitzoekwerk verricht. Daarnaast was het contact ook betrokken, toegankelijk en op een prettige manier persoonlijk. Dat in combinatie met hun grote social media netwerk en kandidatenlijsten maakte de keuze niet moeilijk en ik heb er veel plezier van en succes mee gehad! Mijn huis was binnen de kortste keren verkocht. De communicatie verloopt professioneel, laagdrempelig en leuk. Ik vond de persoonlijke touch die was bedacht in de introductietekst van mijn huis ook pakkend en rakend. En de social media filmpjes waren ook heel aantrekkelijk. Wij hebben Maarten Makelaardij Drechtsteden gekozen voor de verkoop van onze woning. Wij zijn zeer tevreden met dit Makelaarskantoor! Wat ben ik ongelooflijk blij dat ik voor Maarten Makelaardij heb gekozen. Vanaf het allereerste moment voelde het vertrouwd, betrokken en oprecht. In een spannende en soms verwarrende zoektocht naar een nieuw thuis, is er niets fijner dan mensen om je heen hebben die je écht begrijpen. En dat deden ze, stuk voor stuk. Marloes, Pim en Boudewijn… wat een prachtig aankoop team. Ieder met zijn of haar eigen kracht, maar allemaal even warm, deskundig, geduldig en betrokken. Ze luisterden echt naar wat ik zocht, dachten mee (ook buiten de gebaande paden). Ze waren altijd eerlijk, ook als een huis het gewoon níet was. Die openheid en oprechtheid heb ik enorm gewaardeerd. Ik voelde me gezien, gehoord en gesteund in elke stap. Wat deze ervaring voor mij zo bijzonder maakte, is dat het niet alleen ging over het vinden van mijn droom huis. Het ging ook over vertrouwen, over écht ontzorgd worden en over mensen die met hun hart werken. En dat voel je. Niet alleen bij het aankoopteam, maar bij het héle team achter Maarten Makelaardij. Iedereen is zo vriendelijk, meelevend en betrokken. Je merkt dat er met liefde wordt gewerkt. Ik heb veel gelachen en soms ook gehuild. Jullie hebben alle facetten van mij gezien en met zoveel geduld met mij samen gewerkt. Dank jullie wel, echt uit het diepst van mijn hart. Wij hebben voor Maarten gekozen vanwege hun grote bereik op social media en de prachtige foto’s. Achteraf zouden we zó weer dezelfde keuze maken! At the recommendation of a good friend, we were referred to a real estate agent for our house search. We had been looking for over a year when we decided to take them into confidence. And how glad we are that we did this! Patrick helped us enormously and within 2 to 3 months, we suddenly found ourselves with the key to the front door of our new dream home. We were completely new to the buying process but Patrick guided us with great patience, warmth, and good humor. He had clear expertise about the housing market and gave us good advice, for example on the condition of houses or placing an offer. Robbie was professional and came well prepared. What struck me was the realistic valuation and justification. Some brokers were far too high or too low, or weren't well prepared. My experience with Huizenbemiddelaar Drechtsteden was truly fantastic! Patrick sold my house excellently and did much more than I had expected. What particularly struck me is his proactive communication. You never have to wait for his call; before you even think about calling him, he has already informed you. His attention to detail is admirable - he's really a 'Pietje precies' who leaves nothing to chance. In addition, Patrick is not only a very professional real estate agent but also an incredibly relaxed person to work with. His approach truly makes you feel taken care of, which makes the whole process so much more pleasant. It was quite a challenge to sell our house, over 130 years old, monument, energy label G, in this market. It is a lovely and beautiful house, but especially for the true enthusiast. Not a 'buy without looking' type of house. Atmospheric, authentic elements, nice neighborhood. Two other real estate agents only dared to come up with a price that did not do justice to the value of the house. Jay was convinced that for the right enthusiast, a market-conforming price was absolutely achievable. And he was right; he didn't choose the easiest way to convince us with too low offers but to concede. And Jay was right! The ultimate buyers were exactly the people who fit in this house and neighborhood, and saw the value of the house. Jay is enthusiastic, open and honest and remains positive. Would we recommend Jay? Definitely! He may not belong to the established order of the old real estate agents in Dordrecht, but that is precisely why he is willing to go the extra mile. Jay, we are happy with you and wish you much success!

What a great real estate agency this is! Unfortunately, I had to sell my mother's house but what help I received in brainstorming about clearing the house. I got a phone number of a top eviction company...thank you very much Vincent ;) after that everything went at lightning speed! The photos in one word fantastic, the delivery of documents was more than smooth. The sale was closed within 1 week. Definitely a big fat recommendation for these 2 men!! Very negative experience as a buyer, Home 4 You was the selling broker in our case. Truly no good word for Home 4 You. <span class='text-oranje-500'>Home 4 You</span> asked us to submit documents that they should have presented to us themselves. Less than 24 hours after we sent them, they terminated the purchase process without giving a reason. They played and misled us. Buyers beware! Update November 14, 2023: The broker calls to 'amicably' ask to remove the above review. He shows no remorse or responsibility for the experience we had with this broker. He also cannot give an acceptable argument to remove the review. After repeated explanations that our experience is what it is and that I still stand by the review, the conversation once again reveals that this broker communicates very laboriously and puts his own interests first. All he cared about was removing the negative review without any expression of having learned something or thinking about why someone takes the time and effort to write such a review. When I indicated that I would also include the phone call in the review, the response was that he would anticipate it and that I would see what would happen... I repeat my previous advice to buyers: be warned! This broker did not have our best interests at heart, possibly not yours either.

At this location, there is currently a company based that deals with children's therapies, called Margos Creative Practice. There is no real estate agent from Home 4 You Makelaars to be seen on the door. They must have gone somewhere else to live. Hopefully, the phone numbers of two of their employees are listed on their website (and are active). By making an appointment, we will probably know their actual address.

These are hardworking people who even keep you informed of the sales status in the evening or on weekends, which I think deserves praise. My holiday home was listed on Funda on a Friday, by the following Tuesday I already had a viewing, and it was sold on Thursday. So within a week, which feels like a real estate agent who has done their best. A big 👍 therefore!
