In an exciting yet sometimes confusing search for a new home, there is nothing better than having people around you who truly understand you. And they did, every single one of them. Marloes, Pim and Boudewijn… what a wonderful buying team. Each with their own strength, but all equally warm, knowledgeable, patient and involved. They really listened to what I was looking for, thought along (even outside the beaten path). They were always honest, even when a house simply wasn’t it. Although he seemed reasonable during the first visit, he was hardly reachable afterwards, he published incorrect information about the house more than once and made mistakes with the photos. And how glad we are that we did this! Patrick helped us enormously and within 2 to 3 months, we suddenly found ourselves with the key to the front door of our new dream home. We were completely new to the buying process but Patrick guided us with great patience, warmth, and good humor. He had clear expertise about the housing market and gave us good advice, for example on the condition of houses or placing an offer. Do not sign any contract with this company (Estagency) without good communication and do not sign any contract in Dutch (if you are not proficient enough in the language). They will force you to pay service fees after signing, even if you are not satisfied with their service. Make sure to communicate well and only sign documents with this real estate agency after understanding them thoroughly. Don't fall for their nonsense and don't sign any documents without actually understanding them. Good luck!

31 Jan 2024It was quite a challenge to sell our house, over 130 years old, monument, energy label G, in this market. It is a lovely and beautiful house, but especially for the true enthusiast. Not a 'buy without looking' type of house. Atmospheric, authentic elements, nice neighborhood. Two other real estate agents only dared to come up with a price that did not do justice to the value of the house. Jay was convinced that for the right enthusiast, a market-conforming price was absolutely achievable. And he was right; he didn't choose the easiest way to convince us with too low offers but to concede. And Jay was right! The ultimate buyers were exactly the people who fit in this house and neighborhood, and saw the value of the house. Jay is enthusiastic, open and honest and remains positive. Would we recommend Jay? Definitely! He may not belong to the established order of the old real estate agents in Dordrecht, but that is precisely why he is willing to go the extra mile. Jay, we are happy with you and wish you much success!
