He guided us well through the sales process, and was the only one of the three brokers we had invited who came up with the good idea to have photos taken during our vacation. That pragmatic attitude is characteristic of Hans and decisive in our choice for him. We have not regretted that. Hans adapts easily and is flexible in his approach. He listens well to wishes and then gives good advice. He always responded within a day to our questions and he kept appointments. After some setbacks in our own purchase process, he recommended another skilled purchasing broker, Kersten. Which made us feel enormously helped. We can confirm, as several reviews already say, that Hans is a friendly, honest and skilled broker!

He has all the good qualities of a good Real Estate Agent: a. Electrified response, so fast even during his vacation. Always ready to answer all questions, especially because we are expats, we have more questions about the process, the neighborhood etc. B. Very well informed about the area, the market and always willing to share advice based on his experience. C. We relied exclusively on his advice and guidance and was always ready to help outside of his reach. He even answered our mortgage-related questions. Hans, you really should take this job too, because you are too good. D. 01 Apr 2025We have collaborated with Melvin twice. Both times it was a great experience, and most importantly, Melvin helped us both times in finding the right house for us. The first time we were looking for a property in the Netherlands. We weren't even in the Netherlands when we did so. Melvin is a good listener. He listened to all our wishes and requirements, made a shortlist of houses that were on the market, and after the second (online) viewing, we had our first house in a new country. He also knows the market and all the details about it. That helps with the negotiation and bidding process. After living in a rental property for 1.5 years, we decided to buy a home of our own. We knew who to call. Melvin of course :) Here too, he listened carefully to us, gave good advice, and put us in contact with the right people (notary, mortgage advisor, technical inspection etc.). After two months of searching, we found a house for ourselves. Melvin played a crucial role in the bidding process and helped us be selected as buyers. We are now enjoying our dream home. 01 Oct 2024I would no longer be able to recommend Melvin. My wife and I have lived in many different cities around the world, and never before have we had a better experience with a rental service. Melvin is patient, responsive and incredibly knowledgeable about the real estate market in Utrecht (that's where we worked with him, and I am sure he is also great in the other places where he works!). We also heartily recommend Melvin to expats. Because we come from abroad, there were many documents, bills, etc. that we did not need to arrange for a rental property. Melvin was able to help us through all of this, and despite the difficult housing market, we were able to find a place that we absolutely love. We highly recommend Melvin's services, and if we ever move or want to buy something, Melvin will be our permanent partner.

01 Jun 2024Worst service ever. Melvin scheduled a viewing with me and in the email he did not mention the door number of the building/apartment. When I arrived there, I was lost without information about the building, because there were multiple identical ones. Despite calling him several times, he didn't answer his phone. It took me more than 1 hour to get there by train and he simply doesn't care about people’s time. Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful.

So instead of shouting that we have the 'Worst Service Ever', I think it's better to check your own records first. I sent you proof by email. And yes, I don’t answer the phone during viewings. Because we hold private viewings with all our candidates, and then my phone is on silent. Good luck finding a new apartment.

The entire sales process was quite influenced by problems with the authority to dispose of the immovable property. The real estate agent acted understandingly and proactively in this process.
