25 Mar 2025We have collaborated with Melvin twice. Both times it was a great experience, and most importantly, Melvin helped us both times in finding the right house for us. The first time we were looking for a property in the Netherlands. We weren't even in the Netherlands when we did so. Melvin is a good listener. He listened to all our wishes and requirements, made a shortlist of houses that were on the market, and after the second (online) viewing, we had our first house in a new country. He also knows the market and all the details about it. That helps with the negotiation and bidding process. After living in a rental property for 1.5 years, we decided to buy a home of our own. We knew who to call. Melvin of course :) Here too, he listened carefully to us, gave good advice, and put us in contact with the right people (notary, mortgage advisor, technical inspection etc.). Melvin is patient, responsive and incredibly knowledgeable about the real estate market in Utrecht (that's where we worked with him, and I am sure he is also great in the other places where he works!). We also heartily recommend Melvin to expats. Because we come from abroad, there were many documents, bills, etc. that we did not need to arrange for a rental property. 25 Jul 2024Worst service ever. Melvin scheduled a viewing with me and in the email he did not mention the door number of the building/apartment. When I arrived there, I was lost without information about the building, because there were multiple identical ones. Despite calling him several times, he didn't answer his phone. It took me more than 1 hour to get there by train and he simply doesn't care about people’s time. Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful.

For the sale of my mother's house, we were guided by Hans Konings. He is honest and clear about what can and cannot be done. Very helpful, even with the buying party who did not have a real estate agent. Everything arranged from A to Z. Always responds quickly, even in the evening or on weekends. He guided us well through the sales process, and was the only one of the three brokers we had invited who came up with the good idea to have photos taken during our vacation. That pragmatic attitude is characteristic of Hans and decisive in our choice for him. We have not regretted that. Hans adapts easily and is flexible in his approach. He listens well to wishes and then gives good advice. He always responded within a day to our questions and he kept appointments. After some setbacks in our own purchase process, he recommended another skilled purchasing broker, Kersten. Which made us feel enormously helped. We can confirm, as several reviews already say, that Hans is a friendly, honest and skilled broker!

Remmie has years of experience as a real estate agent and appraiser in the local housing market of Utrecht. Not a slick, quick young man, but an involved real estate agent with a positive factor. When it initially didn't go smoothly, Remmie helped keep his head cool. With some patience, and some strategic adjustments to how the property was put on the market, it was still sold quite quickly and for a good amount. Thanks to his good advice and guidance, I have more than earned back the costs of his services. If I ever needed a real estate agent again in the Utrecht region, I would call Remmie.

She is decisive and has a combination of professionalism and personal involvement. Also, the planning of all appointments took place in consultation with us. We were never surprised once. Our sales broker Chris had a good picture of the sales strategy from the beginning and discussed several possibilities. During the viewings, we were fully informed of how they went. The house was bought long ago from Walton Real Estate through Nancy's father, which was already very pleasant at the time and now having the house sold by his daughter, Nancy. From the first contact I felt that she handled things well and had them under control. The entire process has gone very smoothly, good communication, short lines, clear structure and a good rate. Petra in the office is also gold, always friendly and helpful. I have the feeling that they certainly go that extra mile where possible and that's what you want.
