The real estate agent turned out to be unable to sell our house. Eventually switched to Entree Realtors. Unlike the previous realtor, Jan really put in effort to sell the house. Within a week it was settled. There were even multiple interested parties. Coincidence, we don’t think so. We had contact three times regarding the purchase of a property. During these contacts, it was repeatedly stated that we 'would have to overbid' and that we 'should consider' the asking price as a starting price. When many people are interested in a property and hear this message multiple times, you naturally know what will happen. A sad state of affairs.
