Two months ago we bought a house. Agent Lagendijk was the agent of the selling party. After renovating the house, we noticed a leak in the bathroom. Ultimately, we had to have the entire bathroom demolished. The new bathroom cost us €15000,-. The sellers initially wanted to accommodate us and after a few days they backed out. Nothing had been done to the entire house for 30 years, only the downstairs toilet was renovated not so long ago. Later it became clear why: the leak in the bathroom came from the toilet ceiling. This information was withheld from us. Of course, it's very easy and unbelievable that you know nothing about anything. 1. Only the downstairs toilet had been renovated in the entire house. 2. The downstairs toilet also had yellow stains on the ceiling. You could also say we should have paid better attention or had a building inspection carried out. That’s right! But you also expect honesty from the other party! Both the agent and the sellers of the house felt very sorry for us, and that's where it ended.
