From the initial consultation to the handling, you work with a very accessible and expert duo, Michel Wels and Liam de Bruin. Clear agreements are made but there is also ample room for your own ideas and wishes. Communication runs smoothly and a trusting relationship quickly develops. Because the sale took a little longer, it was nice to feel space to think along, give feedback and the adjustments to the approach were well received. The persuasive texts from Sterk Makelaar are also spot on. Selling our houses was then a piece of cake. I sold the house together with my ex-partner, she unfortunately did not leave a good review for these gentlemen, which is a shame. She was simply angry because she had little to say about the sale. 13 Sep 2024In short: just don't do it! Explanation can be found below. ________________________________________ From A to Z, this process has been very unprofessional. The real estate agent we appointed for the sale, Skender, went on vacation immediately after accepting the offer, without any notification. Afterwards, we were left with his replacement, Remco, and that was a terrible experience all around. Here's a list: 1. Remco never answered when you called and didn't respond to messages -- even the notary mentioned during the sale that Remco is known for being unavailable. 2. Remco also didn't introduce himself after taking over from Skender. He didn't say anything and offered no information about the viewings he had planned. 3. Remco provided false information during the viewings, which has also negatively impacted the selling price of our house. 4. Remco was very rude all around. 5. Remco sold items with the house that were not for sale. 6. When Remco was confronted about this, he said: 'I'm not going to negotiate over a few items.' Ultimately, due to his attitude and unwillingness to advocate for our interests, we were unable to keep our belongings. 7. Remco made agreements with the purchasing party regarding the terms of the sale that were not discussed with us. When the notary tried to call him about this, he -of course- didn't answer either. And so on. When we contacted Skender about the substandard service provided, Skender was very indignant that we were dissatisfied. He did not acknowledge our frustrations and we also experienced no improvement or received any apologies. All in all, there was a huge lack of transparency, accessibility and customer focus. It is absolutely not recommended to work with either of these two men. They are both completely incompetent and unprofessional real estate agents.

I contacted them because I wanted help determining a good offer for a house, as I naturally want to make an offer that is proportionate to the house. Ultimately came up with an offer that was tens of thousands of euros above the appraisal value and above other bids. Of course, you only find out about that later. I don't understand house prices, so that’s why I engaged a buyer's agent. So yeah, too much trust. But unfortunately, Skender showed 0 reflection and responsibility in this and mainly wants his invoice to be paid.

The first time we were looking for a property in the Netherlands. We weren't even in the Netherlands when we did so. Melvin is a good listener. He listened to all our wishes and requirements, made a shortlist of houses that were on the market, and after the second (online) viewing, we had our first house in a new country. He also knows the market and all the details about it. That helps with the negotiation and bidding process. After living in a rental property for 1.5 years, we decided to buy a home of our own. We knew who to call. Melvin of course :) Here too, he listened carefully to us, gave good advice, and put us in contact with the right people (notary, mortgage advisor, technical inspection etc.). When I arrived there, I was lost without information about the building, because there were multiple identical ones. Despite calling him several times, he didn't answer his phone. 13 Mar 2025In December, we contacted van Pas Makelaars for an initial consultation; realtor Ellen came to visit us and viewed our property, explaining what the process would be. We were still looking for a new home at the time and planned to wait before selling until we found one. Ultimately, we also used van Pas to help us search for a new home, in which Ellen and especially Stijn fantastically helped us find a new home and negotiate the price! After purchasing our home with realtor Ellen, everything was prepared for the sale; Ellen had created a plan outlining when the photographer would come, when the property would be listed on Funda, and when viewings would take place. Ellen also had an idea of when we would receive the right offer and approximately how much that offer would be. Everything turned out exactly as Ellen planned, from the viewings to the right offer – everything went as predicted! This took a lot of worries off our hands thanks to van Pas, which is a very pleasant feeling when selling your own home! He guided us well through the sales process, and was the only one of the three brokers we had invited who came up with the good idea to have photos taken during our vacation. That pragmatic attitude is characteristic of Hans and decisive in our choice for him. We have not regretted that. Hans adapts easily and is flexible in his approach. He listens well to wishes and then gives good advice. He always responded within a day to our questions and he kept appointments. After some setbacks in our own purchase process, he recommended another skilled purchasing broker, Kersten. Which made us feel enormously helped. We can confirm, as several reviews already say, that Hans is a friendly, honest and skilled broker!

In particular, we would like to thank Sjoerd, with whom we had the intake interview and who also took care of the viewings. Also to Timo, who from their office always quickly and clearly answered all our questions via email and telephone. Before the sale, we were excellently guided, including with the styling of our apartment and filling in all necessary forms. During the sales process, Sjoerd kept us well informed of the status. And after the sale, they remained accessible for any questions. All in all: very professional and friendly people who ensured a quick and pleasant sale. An absolute recommendation!

15 Aug 2025With Vlaming Real Estate you can't go wrong. Sjoerd and his team do what they say and do everything to ease your worries. We have two young children and didn't want to be at home during the sale. Therefore, we were kept informed from the other side of the world and our house was sold during our vacation, without the stress you would normally expect. Sjoerd and Willeke were enormously helpful in viewing all the houses, providing tips and advice on making an offer. Throughout the entire search, they have been very empathetic and involved. They stood ready for us at all times, together with Timo and Matthijs, to answer our questions, however big or small! Choosing a buyer's agent was not difficult for us, and I would immediately choose Sjoerd and his team again!

22 Jul 2025Vlaming Real Estate is a bullseye! Both Sjoerd Vlaming and his staff are very service-oriented, decisive, empathetic and above all expert. From the first moment on, we as a family had full confidence in this office and that proved to be justified. The property had to be sold as a result of the owner's dementia and unfortunately passed away before the final transfer at the notary's office. Vlaming Real Estate handled this very respectfully, in addition to the aforementioned qualities. In short, every seller or buyer of a home would do well to engage this real estate agent, you won’t regret it!
