[Dutch / English below] At the beginning of this year (Jan 2025), we attempted to purchase an apartment on Rapenburg through this real estate agency. This purchase ultimately fell through because the agent withheld crucial documents about the property's condition. The agent received critical VvE minutes on January 3rd containing information about serious defects in the property. The largest cost item was a complete roof renovation. These documents were only shared two weeks later after the neighbors informed us of their existence. Very proper of the neighbors; unacceptable for a real estate agent.

Well and quickly helped by Mr. Hans Kerkvliet, very friendly and the communication was clear from the beginning so I could easily navigate the entire process without extra help. Thank you!

They only respect their own time and do not admit to their mistakes. A viewing was scheduled, for which three people cleared their agenda mid-week. If the house is sold on a weekend and we receive no notification (by phone and/or email) regarding the viewing, then you call them because you are standing in front of a closed door and you also get blamed by the telephone operator for not checking your phone. There was nothing to check because I had not been called or emailed. After repeatedly pointing out that it is impolite to have people come to stand in front of a closed door without a cancellation message, a meager excuse appeared. How rude and disrespectful, I can't deal with this right now. We’ve had multiple viewings in Leiden but this situation was a first and I hope it will also be the last.

Contacted them, but haven't done any business with them yet. Found the phone conversation very pleasant. As soon as my house goes on sale, I will definitely call them and ask them to create a quote.

Does not honor agreements. After purchase, 5 emails sent, no response received anywhere. Promised to receive contact details of the neighbors for a key after purchase, not received. Left belongings that were promised to be removed, never done. Compensation for removal, never received. Meanwhile, more than 3 months have passed.

Only one realtor can be the best and that is Kerkvliet Makelaardij in Leiden.
